I've tipped England 2-1 but it could go either way way too easily! I hope if England wins its a Gerrard screamer! As I'm a pool fan. Wouldn't mind being wrong because Portugal play more attractive football.

Not expecting anything 'Joga Bonito' here.

I'm thinking a 0-0 or 1-1 is on the cards.
I'm sure this game was only played for 2 reasons.

Reason 1 - For those with a sleeping disorder. Would have really helped send them to dream land.

Reason 2 - To make money. Was it ever going to finish up another way? Go the 0-0.

If you have a sleeping disorder and like a punt, you're on cloud 9 right about now

Oh well an hours sleep for me and then Brazil, France. Or should I risk it? I don't really want to sit in front of another goalless two hours but surely a Brazil v France game would have atleast a goal or two???

Frank Lampard lol, has been consistent this world cup, consistently terrible that is, that chance he missed in the 2nd half sums up his tournament, down right terrible, dead set he could've been golden boot if he made the most of his chances (due to the fact he seems very ummm 'reluctant' to pass the ball), and his missed penalty just summarised everything beautifully.

Bye bye Sven, don't let the door hit you on the way out

Sven is a chump and Lampard is his chimp!

Must single out Crouch and Lennon though...the future of England. The future of Rooney is in a mental home

As dumb a move as it turned out to be to take Walcott (now) I think you can add him to the future part. The experience he would have got from this campaign will have been huge and he won't be going to the next one as an untaped 21 year old.

Sure he still has to live up to the expectaion, but if Arsene Wenger is prepared to offload 5m pounds (can go up to 12m) for a 16 year old then that's a good enough reccomendation for me.

On another side note. I know there is a lot of players in world football that like to take a dive etc and it sh*ts me. However it's sadly part of the game now so just had to put up with it.

But seriously, that Ronaldo likes grass more than hot women, money and fast cars.

Ronaldo is a great player, abit theatrical a times but he always gets alot of unfair treatment from defenders who are left bamboozled.
Seriously utd fans may be pissed off but look the guy is a winner, he's got a winning mentality, and he it showed today. He got in Rooney's face and people say its not right because the 2 are team mates at club level but serious he's got no obligation to england just because he plays for an english club.

BTW if peter crouch is the future of england then england ain't got much of a future
