Parry was let go or had a fallout. Dunster can play..
Dunster has been named in the 21 quite a few times in the last 6 weeks.
I never mentioned Parry because he was punted (rightfully so). But if you do a search of my posts I never rated Parry either. Terrible defender. Being named in the 21 doesn’t mean shit. They rotate the outside backs in the extended squad.

Sorry, I can't agree on Marata.
In my opinion he has simply been a battering ram since being moved solely to the middle and while we need that, we need more than that as well.
I want to see him use his size like Kikau - out wide against halves like he was last year when he was a lot more damaging.

But thats not what Marata is.

He doesn't have the footwork, skill, size etc of Kikau. I see Marata as a very fast, athletic battering ram. Someone who can generate a quick play the ball, play physical. Kinda like a better version of Peni without the sideways running and way better hands.

If Marata had the ability to be anything like Kikau, why would BA sign Matto???

Edge defence terrible. 10 line breaks to 3. I know he created one try but Mahoney shouldn’t be kicking the ball. It Results in more bad than good.

Those little things like that are what they should learn from, especially playing against a top side. Two or three poor kicks led to Melbourne's tries.

Also the edge defence in recent times has been poor but its seems like it comes down to fatigue. The Storm made so much metres with linebreaks and line speed, add to that the six again calls.

Yeah but we loaned two blokes to another club in that time and when they were no longer on loan they were in the 21 too...i suggest he gets named because he is fit to play, and doesn't have a last name of Salmon.

while I drink my whisky, I will vouch for Noise, he definitely didn’t rate Parry. especially after Parker made him look like a park player.....

None of them are effective long distance kickers...Mahoney as a third string long kicker is fine, but the other two are garbage from kicking from our own end.
Practice, practice and more practice..the plus side is they are both much better defenders than moses. Tonight, defensively he was horrible. I'm a moses fan but i don't know having him being exposed week in week out is a good thing..it may be a call which has to be made..

Funny story, my son goes for the storm (posted it a few times).

Anyhow he is grounded from his xbox until Monday. He was at his mates and messaging me in the second half giving it to me.

Each msg, I responded with an extra week of grounding, joking around. It got up to 7 weeks.

He called my wife after the game too see if “dad” was ok and if I was serious.......he was shitting himself.......

I'm no Moses fan either, but also know that if he is going to be replaced it need to be with someone with a good long kicking game.

Don’t think Moses was the problem tonight.
Think he had some class touches and a few poor ones.

the game changed on Mahoney’s crap kick followed by Fergo’s horrible knock on off the Hughes kick after we had just levelled up. The momentum we had finally swung after they’d scored 3 straight tries was lost within a set.

you just can’t do that against a great team.

the refereeing was horrible too at times, but I wouldn’t blame the loss on it but being at the ground and seeing what melbourne was constantly able to get away with vs what we were constantly punished for was laughable.

to read Ennis saying we will lose next week as the knights or Souths will pull apart our right edge and kill us - neither of those teams are in the same ballpark as the storm and they didn’t “kill us”.

Little to no mention of us losing our wingers and having to play completely different combinations.

I’m confident we’ll win no matter who we play next week at Bankwest.

That's what I noticed. The timing of penalties. Its all preparation. Bellamy is way smarter than Brad. Brad is a dope actually.

A dope that finished 3rd and took the best team of the last 10 years to the final 5... okkkk
