Just out of curiosity - how many of you guys putting your faith in Haze Dunster, have actually seen him play?

Because, to be honest, there's a reason he is so low down the pecking order...

Marata has been fantastic playing in the middle off the bench.

A couple of new players and swapping some players around isnt going to change tonights result. It goes far deeper than that.
Sorry, I can't agree on Marata.
In my opinion he has simply been a battering ram since being moved solely to the middle and while we need that, we need more than that as well.
I want to see him use his size like Kikau - out wide against halves like he was last year when he was a lot more damaging.

I thought the biggest issue was our attack?
I must have been reading a different forum for the last 8 weeks.

Our edge defence and our ability to do anything from set situations has been atrocious all year. It was just the rest of our attack that was also shit for the last 3 months. This was the only thing that improved tonight, the other two things are still attrocous.

Is he really down the pecking order?
I've seen him play and he has improved shitloads from his u20's days. Was very good in NSW cup last year...good speed and pokes his head through

He wasn’t damaging on the edge though. He had f**k all line breaks or tackle busts. It’s the reason he was moved to the middle.

I’d be tapping Fergo on the shoulder and letting him go if he could possibly find a new club. I’d go after Addo Carr and we would be transformed as a team. Offer the Storm Fergo or Sivo as compensation.
Bellamy is likely to turn them into something special against us.

Yes. The pecking order for wingers is:
Fergo
Sivo
Gennings
Taka
Daylight
Dunster
I’m not even sure we have any more wingers, so he might be last in the pecking order.

I've watched plenty of him in NSW Cup, and our junior systems, and I think he will become a solid First Grader - but he is a while off, imo.

He has some speed, and is pretty strong - but his decision-making in defence needs work, and he needs improvement in defusing kicks.

He's still young, though, so time is on his side.

But right now, imo, George Jennings, and Brad Takairangi offer more.

If we could get Ado Carr to play fullback, move Gutho to 6 and DBrown 7. Moses offloaded. Would anyone be against that?

Yes, he is down the pecking order:

Sivo
Ferguson
Jennings
Blake
Takairangi

Would all play before him.

Parry was let go or had a fallout. Dunster can play..
Dunster has been named in the 21 quite a few times in the last 6 weeks.

Not bad.

Personally, if we were looking to move Moses on, and switch Gutho to 5/8 (and I'm not saying we should), I'd like us to bring Bevan French home, and give him the fullback spot.

He would also be a lot cheaper than Addo-Carr.
