For me replacing Angus isn’t the biggest problem. He runs good lines and you can groom plenty of second rowers to do the same job that he does. In fact I’m pretty sure Cameron Murray is a straight slot in. Which would allow Fuimaono or Britt or even Sironen to compete for that bench role.

For me the biggest problem is locking up the talent we already have. Cook, Graham, Hiroti and Murray are all coming off contract next year and all of these players will be vital for us as a team moving forward. Forget recruiting a second rower if it’s gonna stop us from resigning Cook or Murray. Cook has been at integral part of our 2018 campaign and he’s due for a massive pay upgrade which he definitely deserves.

Yeah, I think Murray looks the obvious choice to replace Crichton too.

Yea, Seibs has already said that he's not gonna do anything contract wise until the 2018 season is finished.

I rate Hess. I think he could develop into a a good prop or lock down the track.

Hess would be a fantastic aquisition i believe. 21 years old with 6 appearances for Queensland already and is only going to get better. Will play for Australia one day.
The biggest threat in the NQ pack not named Jason imo and there aren't many better around the league, especially of those available.

Heard on radio this morning Corey Oats to Cowboys and Alex Glenn to Titans. Souths will announce 1 year deal for Sutto and 3 year extension for Jennings. Goodbye Gagan, Turner, Musgrove at this stage.

Would Oats to the Cowboys as a back rower suggest there could be some weight behind the Hess to us rumour.

Its so hard buying out of state players to move away from family they need at least 100k more than their best offer. To get oates or even sua we would need big money.
I just hope we get some youngsters we can try and develop because it dosent look like anyone established is coming

Hallelujah re Gagan... some told me I was wrong re him but I knew all along.... kick him out...... correct re the the other 2. Shame grub Gallen ruined Turner' career....
