Would be a bit sad if AJ went I reckon, I love him as a player and I agree he is a winger that has a long way to go to be a top class fullback. I wouldn't be absolutely gutted if he went, it would just sadden me because he's a Souths junior, was a part of that 2014 Grand Final winning side and he's been around for a little while.

Maybe AJ already knows he's gonna lose his spot to Allan?

Corey Allan hasnt even played 1st grade yet?? He is unproven. He played at the same Brisbane club as Meninga - is that why he was picked for the PM13 by Mal.
Somebody in this forum quotes that their brother heard AJ is going to Canberra and you all believe it?
AJ is on 300k - Souths would be silly to cut him loose at that price as it would cost a lot more to replace him as a winger let alone a fullback. Especially when Allan is unproven at that level.

I commend Richo and the board for quickly appointing Bennet , even though i would rather have had Demitriou or jones, it should settle our players and if i know Bennet Demitriou will follow and eventually take over, i also believe Bennet would not want a repeat of the newcastle fiasko, players will come

He jumped the gun and lead with “man who saved Dylan Walker and Aaron Grey from drug overdose, dies of drug overdose himself.” Turns out the coroner ruled out drugs as cause of death and it was thought to be due to a congenital heart failure. Now that’s how much of a dick Buzz Rothfield is. Hope the family sue the arse off of him.

I'm not saying I believe it and I'm not saying Allan will 100% take the fullback spot, I'm just saying that I think Allan is gonna give AJ some real, and I mean real, competition for the number one spot. I know I'm not the only person that thinks this.

I don’t think so re Turner sorry. His confidence must be shot. Especially after what Gallen did to him as we know.

I think the one if he is still with us when Bennett comes that can be revitalised is Musgrove. I believe Bennett will be very good for him if he still with us.

Personally Mace I see currently that both Seibs and Bennett’ positions for 2019 are both untenable. What’s your view?

Yeah I heard something similar that events weren’t exactly how Richo has portrayed they went down.

As far as 2019 goes it wouldn’t be the first time a coach was on his last year of his contract at a club and this was known at the beginning of a season.
I don’t know why all of a sudden this is “untenable”. I guess these days most coaches are sacked.
They are professionals and after the year we had last year the “premiership window” is open. Why pass up that opportunity.
Sure he’ll have an eye on 2020 and be in contact with the broncos about recruitment but I’m ok with that.

I personally don’t think Seibs has ever had a true passion for Souths or that he really was invested in us with his heart. I think we were just a stopgap option. I personally want him gone ASAP after the opportunity we gave him.....

All along I felt he’d go. Once all that talk was around our season started to slip away.
