Looks like it's a confirmed signing. Good to see we've strengthened a spot we haven't got much depth in. Now we've got Burgess x2, Tyrrell, Grant, Brown and the likes of Clark, Grevsmuhl and PJ Los'e if need be.

Tigers prop granted release to join the Bunnies March 2, 2015 RickyRicardo Leave a comment The forward depth at the South Sydney Rabbitohs has been strengthened, with the club signing Nathan Brown from the Wests Tigers after they released him from the remainder of his contract. Playing just the one game for the Tigers and in his NRL career to date, Brown was a part of the Tigers NYC Championship side in 2012. The 21-year old received the best wishes from the club and coach Jason Taylor. “On behalf of everyone at the Club I would like to thank Nathan for his commitment during his time at Wests Tigers,” Taylor said. “I wish him all the best in the next stage of his rugby league career.” “Looking at our current squad, I believe we have good depth in the front-row, with a number of quality options including current internationals Aaron Woods and Martin Taupau. “The Club has granted Nathan the chance to take up an opportunity to play first grade elsewhere and we wish him good luck in the future.” The Bunnies released a short statement confirming the signing: The South Sydney Rabbitohs have added young prop forward Nathan Brown to the full time squad for the 2015 and 2016 seasons today. Brown, 21, joins the Rabbitohs after a stint at the Wests Tigers which saw him make his first grade debut in 2013 against the Dragons. Standing 185cm and weighing in at 107kg, Brown joins the Rabbitohs squad from today, bolstering the front row depth at the Club. - See more at:

Super aggressive, borderline thug. Will fit in well with the squirrel gripping, chicken winging, leg breaking souths pack. Anyways stronger mail he is going to saints.

wests tigers could do with some of those players in their forward pack, instead of the usual soft plodders

he snapped in that 1 game because a raiders player was holding his arms back whilst another was hitting him in the face

good depth signing :)

Chris Grevsmuhl broken thumb.

That's bad news for us. Grevsmuhl was in good form.

I would assume 4-5 weeks. Dylan was out around 4-5 weeks with a broken thumb last year.

I'd assume he will have surgery on it to heal it faster.

Good mail you seem to get as well Southsport.

Brown was selected in the NSW Resident's side to play the Qld Residents so was regarded as one of the best in the NSW Cup.

Madge would not be interested in a thug ,as since he's been in charge he tends to pick players who have a balance of ability, decency & good behaviour.
There's an i/view with him on the Tigers Official Site---he is a quietly spoken young bloke who doesn't present,on the surface, anyway,as a thug!

He has good potential and adds depth that we need.

Madge will make sure he is working hard at training and for Norths.
