Yep, fingers crossed Taupau signs with us plus more:)

Tiger hunting

We're hearing South Sydney is keen to make a play for Wests Tigers enforcer Martin Taupau. The Kiwi international had another big season in a struggling team and is sure to attract plenty of interest from rivals. The 25-year-old is contracted until the end of 2016 and could be an option for the Rabbitohs after they parted early with Glenn Stewart. "Gifty" had a falling out with Michael Maguire over the coach's gruelling training workloads, which are more onerous than he was accustomed to at Manly. Other Rabbitohs players are also grumbling about being flogged on the training paddock, claiming they are spent by the time they run out for matches.

There have been reports that the Wests Tigers will struggle to keep Martin Taupau next season despite him being contracted to the club.

Taupau is one of the biggest names at the Wests Tigers and as you can read below Souths is believed to have put in an offer.

However, Triple M NRL's Dobbo dropped some massive mail in his segment on Fox Sports NRL 360, saying the up-and-coming superstar won't be at the Wests Tigers next year and might just end up on the Gold Coast.

The Wests Tigers salary cap woes have been well-documented and it's one of the reasons why they're keen to move Robbie Farah on. While Luke Brooks and Mitchell Moses alongside Taupau are all on good money next year.

Earlier On Triple M
Sunday Triple M NRL host and Souths No. 1 ticket holder Anthony Maroon shared a rumour he had heard on the streets of Redfern that Martin Taupau is linked to the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

Martin Taupau is still contracted to the Wests Tigers although it has been made public the salary cap issues the club is facing.

Triple M NRL's Paul Kent said the club is missing the likes of Sam Burgess and Ben Te'o this season and Taupau would fit the build.

"He would suit South Sydney's style of football, he is that power forward that they have been lacking so it would make sense," Paul Kent said.

"Whether the Wests tigers would be willing to let him go is the issue."

The Tigers told captain Robbie Farah he was not needed last month and the hooker did sit down with the Redfern club although the Bunnies have since said they are not interested.

The Titans could very well pay overs to get him.

We could miss out.

Suggestions elsewhere that there could be talented forward from another club (not tigers) talking to Madge.
