I declared early as a Widdop supporter and am happy to state his form overall this year has been very sub standard.
I also declared early that I am not a Benji fan and I believe his form has also been very sub standard even in my estimation which is already low.
So if one or the other is the problem and the other one is redeemable how to evaluate that?
Widdop is contracted and Benji is not so under what circumstance is Benji a value option and the answer is he has to play 5/8 or nothing.
On this scenario we still need a half and you would have to find a way to slot Widdop into another position or out the door and for a cash strapped club that is not a good option.
So the underlying problems remains that we have to get a half and therefore Benji is expendable first because that is the position he was purchased for and secondly he has no contract.
If Widdop continues to fail then off to the Cutters and strike a deal for him to go mid year 2017.
Then we have 2 brand new halves which is what most people think ultimately is what we need.

Stop trying to embellish it you senile fool. Benji was bad the first year, Widdop was terrible. Benji was very good last year, Widdop was terrible. Benji has been bad this year, Widdop has been the worst regular first grader in the competition.
I support getting rid of Marshall and several other players but getting rid of Widdop is a must.

Nice to see you back and still proving to be the means of scoring 1 NRL point.
You want to start an argument on the basis of me simply posting the obvious options.
We apparently have no money to pay out contracts so you need a next best option which is what I proposed but your angry antennas went up as usual.
Maybe you should change your avatar to Ken Wilson.

Are you senile or have you not watched any games this season? The club can't afford not to get rid of Widdop. Crowds, membership and sponsorship is on the verge of cratering. No NRL club will pick up a significant % of his salary but an ESL club might and I hope he has too much pride to play in the Illawarra local comp. He is not NSW Cup standard.

The question is not whether I am senile it is actually can you read and interpret things.

The following is straight from my earlier post.

"On this scenario we still need a half and you would have to find a way to slot Widdop into another position or out the door and for a cash strapped club that is not a good option."

"If Widdop continues to fail then off to the Cutters and strike a deal for him to go mid year 2017."

What part of the above looks like I am trying embellish it?

Your best option was an ESL Club MIGHT take him well if they don't and you already acknowledge no NRL team will take him please tell me your solution Kenny.

You mean to say I'm a mad genius? The only offence I take is the idea I must be a genius for seeing the fact that Gareth Widdop is an utter and complete dud before anyone else on this forum. Though I know a few others, "Slippery Morris" for example, have been critical for a long time. I'm surprised Objective View didn't see it sooner. Though I was wrong about Mary and he was wrong about Widdop. Lets call it a draw.

Anyway, it doesn't take a genius. Remember the first half year with the "marquee playmaker" Widdop? Why was the club so desperate to get Marshall on the books? Pick any single game over the past 3 years and keep in mind Widdop is a playmaker and keep in mind what a playmakers job is and you will see he is a complete dud even if you aren't so smart.

F##k me. We must all be geniuses,as we all have opinions & that's all they are

Well it wasn't me who decided such a thing. God have mercy over you poor idiots! Objective View must be gnashing his teeth. I have always said that Nick and Objective View and others are smarter than me.

My emotions toward Widdop went negative during the first half season he was on the books at the Dragons. I'm all for a clean out as long as vWiddop is the first shown the door.

Personally, I very much appreciate the contributions Vas makes to this forum.

So much better than the insipid and nonsensical remarks made by the apologetic buffoons masquerading as true supporters.

Keep up the good work, Vas.

That is purely due to the fact that neither of you know anything about rugby league.

I think there are some people on here who get way too personal in their attacks on fellow supporters who simply express a different opinion. It's a little sad, really.

Vas deserves to be treated with some dignity and respect.

Nonsensical sums up your contribution to this forum.

Arrogant, self centred and just an annoying merkin.
