It was Sully, but BK had a great overall kicking game tonight - and it probably reflects on the overall team performance - the forwards get on top and the half can get a good kick in.

Yep. I remember seeing the replay, Sullivan kicked and followed straight in from camera point of view to give Peach a hi-five ;-)

If Gower & Lockyer can't kick, then all kickers are in trouble!!

IMO the ball is hit so sweetly of Lockyers boot, you can read an expression of gratification on the face of the ball, as it flys downfeild at record distance.
I am yet to see the equal of Wally, it is all about when, and f**k me I am yet to see and equal (still booing Wal), Johns comes close.
Kimmorley goes pretty damn well , but Wally, Sterlo, and Johns are the standouts in this department IMHO.
Lockyer has a couple of years at his natural position to match them, I think he will and his running game is better than all of them.
Gower has a very impressive kicking game also, good enough for a premiership.

No other person/team kicks like the Langer Lockyer combo of the mid-late 90's for mine there kicking cost us a Premiership. Didn't see much of Lewis and Sterlo only on tapes, although the balls have changed shape they didn't seem that extraordinary, the kicks had the benefit of some good players chasing and scoring which helps.

As for Kimmorleys kicking performance it was sound but as for sensational you must be dreaming He didn't overly attack and be creative with his kicking. What he did do though was make them work hard by hitting it deep and long. Dont over awe yourselves just cos we won his kicks weren't overly attacking at all, however they were defensively attacking and confining for the Raiders. Attacking is big high bombs, grubbers, Bannanas, Check sides, floaters, not what Kimmorley was doing. Having said that his kicking was on song he could have been attacking tonight but rarely needed to be nice won off the kick off his kicking set a platform for us tonight he kicked very well.

Noddy kicked pretty well, alot still went dead though. I'd like to see less of that. 7 out of 10 for last night.

I think the best kickers I have seen were Ricky Stuart (far better than Langer) and Gred Alexander (remember his kicking in those 2 GF's against Canberra).

Back on the topic Noddy's kicking was superb last night. Clearly getting more distance and almost every kick found the turf and worked Schifoscke very hard. As for his goal kicking - I'm not expecting a repeat of that performance for a while, though I hope I'm wrong.

Brilliant allround kicking game to complement a stunning performance from the champ.

Let's bring this old topic back up. Tonight, Dyksey showed Noddy what a kicking game should be like. Deeeep kicks in play, constantly turning our backs around, whereas Noddy's always fell in front of the wingers/fullback.

Noddy put in a superb attacking kick for Dumas' try, but apart from that, he was completely dominated by Dykes in the kicking department. Luckily, his passing and defence were on song.

I thought both kicked great.
If Dykes doesnt play for them (and Peterson)we flog them.
If Noddy doesnt play for us they win.
Good game.

My points all along Garbo.
The difference was the kicking game tonight. Dykes kicking kept them in the match.
& he had a crack at a few 40/20's. They don't have to be successful to be successful, as the defence has to be ready for them at all times, thus creating openings. Noddy didn't have a crack at any.
Another kick that caught my attention was Morris's. Sustained Sharks pressure & parra get the ball back but have nothing. Run in Morris for 70m pearler, that stands up on the dead ball line.
Noddy threw a banana in 2night which was perfect, so I have to change my rating. 9/10 for bananas now.
