Well what a shit show. Lane has been like a deer in the headlights and then he gives that set restart away by pushing the Manly player back down again, f**k me. I thought if we went in down by 12 we could win. Now I don’t think we can. Don’t get me started on Levi.

At 16-4, a small part of me thought we could still peg the deficit back.

At 22-4, we are no chance.

Matterson/Ferguson weren’t rested, they had injuries which made it a risk playing them tonight. They play and there is the potential to have several games out rather then one.

Problem is though they both play on the same edge. If they are 50/50, maybe rest one but not both.

I really don’t want us to extend Field. He’s not a half and he’s not a 9. Perhaps an undersized fullback, but that’s it

Everyone in the organisation seems to have taken this game far too lightly.

It all started with the resting of players.

We're playing like a team who is due for a loss, are expecting a loss and are playing accordingly.

Drawing a long bow there JTE. Roosters were right in it and played awesome. We are beyond terrible.

I can cop a loss - sometimes you're just outplayed.

But this defensive attitude we have had all year is nowhere to be found tonight, and it is disheartening.

I can accept clunky attack, errors, and losing to a team with more aggression and/or enthusiasm.

But the defence we have showed tonight is just not acceptable.

Exactly. I’ve been our premier poster for at least a decade now. I hate merkins putting shit on our players and then back flipping.
