SOS and him need time because if Luai or Cleary go down they are next up in potentially a final.

Rest of the side it is better to get guys for this year and next year

I think we should absolutely play both of them because that’s why we have them, they’re not here to develop into first grade options so who cares if they’re leaving. As you say the actual potential first grade options aren’t ready to be looked at anyway.

Turuva should play over Staines next week though if needed in a final Staines would come in. Given he is 30 games into FG it is better to blood the rookie for more options

Falls is leaving as well so why pick him? Fact is we never had Falls or SOS to develop into first grade halves. They’re back up so we can comfortably rest our Origin halves. We should use them as such.

No threat of being challenged up front, left edge will rip them to pieces, halves can just kick to corners, shovel the ball to the edges and we get to see a bit more from Leniu, Luke, Jenkins and Turuva at basically no risk. Wrap the game up with 30 to go and take Edwards off for a look at Turuva at the back.

Wait... Falls is leaving too? I know SOS was gone. I missed us losing Falls also. Jesus I didnt realise how desperate everyone was for Panthers no matter how far from first grade they are.

I totally agree. I also like that he's come out early in the week and made the call. Stops all the carry on.

This is game is gunna be tough like many others. W/T will be desperate to nail a win. They don't care whose playing in our jersey as it will show as a win against the premiers.
