That's Jenkins done imo. Next back in the line should play in the future. Need Tago back and old man Peachey gone

Ive said for a long time i don't think he is quite nrl quality...

Not in a premiership team...

Not yet anyway. Regardless to the bad things he did tonight its the good stuff he does that i actually dont see the spark in...

He isnt a speedster... he doesnt have a step or isnt overly evasive..

Hes just solid.. hes a solid winger that will get better and maybe develop into a solid nrl winger in a mid placed team.

The club needs to move forward with mclean and than his brother casey.

In terms of raw talent ive always said i think daeon in the man.. he is a xavier coates mk2...

Daeons issue atm is he is massively rocks or diamonds and he has plenty of mistakes in his game... if he can fix that up there is a real nrl player in him.

I thought we we ok. Patchy, but the Tits were steadier than normal, completing and kicking pretty well.

Not impressed by Cogger at 9. Lots of passes going well behind players or a bit low, stifling momentum and wasn't really up to the defense in the middle. No shame, the guys a half back. I hope the people suggesting every vaguely skillful player be shoehorned into a 9 because they're not happy with the pace of Soni Lukes development take notice. It's a specialist position. Would much prefer to have Sommerton next drop behind Kenny and I think we missed a trick in not giving him more NRL minutes tonight.

For his part I thought Luke was pretty good. Mick Ennis was happy to see him on and thats apparently a reasonable metric to judge by.

A bit harsh to go at Turuva today too imo. He had a good game and if he got up celebrating they would have awarded a try and were talking about how hes turning his finishing around. I agree with Girds saying its a confidence issue. Every other winger in the comp claims that try imo. Peachey should have put him away for one in the first half too.

Usual crowd were just too good. Thought Martin was awesome, some rib shaking work in defense. The penalty against him in the first half was a joke.

Happy with that. Hopefully we put a bigger score on the slimes next week.

Cogger had two or three bad passes.. other than that in his first game at 9 in the nrl he was pretty good..

He had some nice touches and passes... people expect way to much...

Give him half a year there and hed be a really good nrl hooker imo... the fact he has a good kicking game gives options.

He brought the forwards on nice and had a few nice runs that were good... he also went to the right a few times when nath and luai were set up left and we almost scored..

No way you can pick sommerton after his defence last week.. letting in a basic try..

Sommerton has a long way to go to be playing nrl... and thats shown in cup... he has some nice touches than has shockers..

People see one or two bad passes and right him off... instead of seeing- that its his first game at 9 basically in both grades all year and he did some good things..

Sommerton did plenty of good things in nrl last week to but the try he let in was jersey flegg stuff

Critta isnt a speedster at all...

Got run down by dce in origin.......
We don’t have a speedster. Haven’t had over this four year journey. But it isn’t part of our makeup our strengths are different. No side can deliver what our back three or five do, it is the cornerstone of our success.

One thing i guess is the titans threw caution to the wind... they offloaded every chance they could and still completed at 97%...

They played the perfect game and still werent close..

I still think we are playing at 70% at best atm.... winning to which is great...

But the broncs are firing on all cylinders..

I kinda dont think ivan would be to disappointed tbh...

I think ivan might be smashing the boys a bit at training knowing they are gunna get a week off in the next few weeks...

I mean the last two weeks weve been real slow out of the blocks and looked flat and tired...

I think maybe ivan is thinking ill hammer them with fitness all week and see how they go... win or loss we 95% have top 2 locked up and a home semi...

Will likely rest them in rd27 and get them firing on all cylinders..

Ivan 5 or 6 years ago id say he has no idea... ivan 2023 i think is playing the long game and has a plan...

Get the boys winning games already tired and fatigued to get them prepared... week off in 27 and come out fresh from a rest a boom...

You get the feeling also that we are leaving plenty of trick plays up our sleeve... i mean weve seen no special scrum plays or any real tactical moves... just our stock standard plays...

I think ivan is leaving plenty of tricks in the hat for the finals
