He will work on his finishing in the off season...

Hes been a revelation this year...

Man your a harsh judge... you backed staines when he was making mistakes and 20m a week yet you are telling me turuva isnt a winger when hes been so damn safe and good this year.

Unbelievable..

He will be a mainstay
Agree he has been amazing. There is one part of his game where he needs to improve, and he is in his first full season as a fullback.

I do wonder if there is a way to get him infield a bit, as he looks so elusive until he gets into the final 5x5m corner trying to score.

Our best 17 has Salmon and not Hosking.

The reason salmon didnt play is cogger covers the halfs and with luke on the bench covering 9 ivan needed a half cover.

Salmon will most likely be in come finals as ivan likes his versatility but the bench make up has to work for him to be on it

Its just a confidence thing and learning how to use his body..

He will 100% be fine... i mean smug is saying he isnt a winger cause he isnt scoring freakish tries...

That must be the only reason cause everything else he has done has been first class...

Nrl leading in terms of how safe he is and right up there in meters..

He is a great player in his first season of nrl... huge future

He struggles to put down easy ones. He's f**king fantastic but if he can't score he can't be picked really

Well i mean it really shouldve been a try...

The bunker had a shocker..that and peachys trys were both tries...

He is in his first year.. learning how to use his body... maybe give him the time you gave staines... cause hes about 100x further along than he was

I thought we we ok. Patchy, but the Tits were steadier than normal, completing and kicking pretty well.

Not impressed by Cogger at 9. Lots of passes going well behind players or a bit low, stifling momentum and wasn't really up to the defense in the middle. No shame, the guys a half back. I hope the people suggesting every vaguely skillful player be shoehorned into a 9 because they're not happy with the pace of Soni Lukes development take notice. It's a specialist position. Would much prefer to have Sommerton next drop behind Kenny and I think we missed a trick in not giving him more NRL minutes tonight.

For his part I thought Luke was pretty good. Mick Ennis was happy to see him on and thats apparently a reasonable metric to judge by.

A bit harsh to go at Turuva today too imo. He had a good game and if he got up celebrating they would have awarded a try and were talking about how hes turning his finishing around. I agree with Girds saying its a confidence issue. Every other winger in the comp claims that try imo. Peachey should have put him away for one in the first half too.

Usual crowd were just too good. Thought Martin was awesome, some rib shaking work in defense. The penalty against him in the first half was a joke.

Happy with that. Hopefully we put a bigger score on the slimes next week.

Pretty textbook hip drop. To be fair; deserves a suspension.
His last prior happened in round 21 last year and is thus over 12 months, so he has no priors. This means he'd get 2 weeks if it's a grade 3 and takes the early guilty. Hard to be sure but it doesn't look that bad. Maybe a grade 2, which would be 1 week with early guilty. It was his turn to be rested anyway.

Thanks for looking it up Stinkfinger. Agree it shouldn’t be a grade 3; he went down onto the ground and then seemed to get dragged over the legs.

Hopefully you and @Girds89 are right.
