The nrl should be concerned that there were quite a few blow out scores over the first round....and add in another team and the talent gets diluted to the point most teams will be fielding players that are reserve grade standard and we'd be lucky to get a couple of games a week that would truly be a contest and the rest would be blow outs....

It's not looking good atm

The stark reality is that if one your halves is on 900k and is still playing, that the likes of Volkman and Hawkins should be able to just come in and do their job. But, the issue is that the bloke we're paying 900k is nothing more than a standard 400k side kick as a half.

We're totally f**ked without Moses.
Then we are f**ked indeed…. If 1 player is differences between succes and disgrace we are certainly in deep deep shit !!!

It’s damning that we started at least 2 players that are good RMC level players in reality and our debut young players showed more willing and intent than a fair number of starters. We are seeing some decent shoots of good juniors coming through, but our recruitment in the past 4/5years of NRL players has been nothing but poor.

Is the HOF missing his KPIs , did the coach want experienced back ups, we seem to have borderline players and older team members who. Have picked up their POs and will be around for a while longer.

Get better at the job is more than necessa

I just don't understand how we can't develop some above average jnrs to compliment the players we need to buy. There needs to be a balance if you want to compete for a premiership....unless you can manipulate the cap...

The best we can come up with is Russell and penisini??? What has happened to this club that was once a powerhouse in development???

All these hyped up jnrs coming through are pretty shit in my eyes.

The problem is the kids come through and then their development stops.
We have a good batch of kids coming through in Matts & Ball again now but hopefully their development stops.

Watching how the Raiders first grade team has started to play and also their ruck defense made me watch with interest their Matt's and Ball teams and they seem to be playing the same style which is what you need to do.

The sad thing is as much as I dislike Gould, he is probably a person we've needed to right so many wrongs with our club.
We've needed someone with influence, nous, footy smarts. I don't think we've had one for a very long time...
It's deplorable on the 1st weekend in March to talk about how garbage we are. Let's hope it's onwards and upwards from here

yet who have we got? The idiot CEO Jim who had NFI and O’Neil. They are both in charge of this absolute mess. Just have a look at the contracts they approved. They have NFI about footy. You can see the difference between Gould and these absolute donkeys.

With RCG gone we now have zero genuine starting Front Row Middles in the joint.

Paulo is only useful for 15 minute stints either side of half time.
Joffa is a No 17 you give 20 minutes a week to, as are Moretti, Greig, and Guymer
Matterson is ideal for the 40 minute stint in the middle of the game. Lane is also suited to this role.

Williams I think showed enough that we should give him one starting front row spot, but we're that light on for edge backwaters that a bloke who has been little more of that No 17 player in the team prior is now the best forward in the team and we need him to play 4 positions!!!

We urgently need another starting Front Row Middle and two Edge Forwards, and a 9.

After RCG left, I hoped this was one departure that was coming back to bite us, so far it isnt looking good. Both starting props didnt look dangerous in the first stint and the only forwards that made over 100m were Williams and Hopgood.

I dont know if its the sort of style Ryles is looking at but you need big forwards against sides like Melbourne and Penrith.

I dont know if there's anyone coming through or looking for a club at the moment.

Klemmer is looking for a game.

I'm not sure he will make the difference we're looking for.
