Whereas Johnston probably would’ve iced all 11 put downs. The two errors are not the same. Blake’s error wasn’t dropping the ball, it was diving too early.
If Johnston can drop a ball he can mistime his dive. They are just mistakes. If Blake can catch a ball he can dive at the right time.

If it was a no brainer we'd be doing it. Anyway I don't think moving Dylan Brown to centre hurts us at all. It is an opportunity to unlock his running game. Like how the Storm bought Brett Finch so they could move Inglis out wider. Nobody argued that Finch is a better five-eighth than Inglis. It was that Inglis was wasted at five-eigth, much like Drown is.
This is where the nepotism argument comes in. I agree though, Brown can play Centre fine. The problem is though we lose far too much in attack bringing JA on. We were lucky we had such a lead before Russell got injured. We may not be so lucky next time.

Not questioning the effort but rather his pace and agility.
Good enough I think. He was quick/agile enough to be effective in the trials and again in a couple of games last year. Don't forget this isn't a guy who's never made an impact in first grade. In his eight NRL games he's made a linebreak, scored 2 tries and set up 3. He's no Sam Walker but it's a good output for a playmaker his age. He also defends much better than Walker.

You think our defence collapsed because of Jake Arthur? Where's the logic there?

Huh? Not sure what you’re saying here. I’m saying our attack collapsed. If we’re chasing points or even holding on to a slight lead, JA is not the half I want on the field.
But we were holding onto a big lead and the whole team shat itself. Defence and attack. How is that Jake Arthur's fault?

Yeah but the sample size is small. We had a bit of a laugh when he beat Brown for TA's in short time but no one really made much of it because of that. So the stats at this point are less relevant, and at this point he looks kinda slow and not ready. I'm not even usually one who believes that selecting players too early is detrimental to them but here it might be.

I expect a lift in defensive intensity and line speed which wasnt there yesterday. Will probably be a dour 12-10 type of match tbh.
