Speaking of Magic round.

I heard on the radio today the dopes in the AFL have tried to copy it this weekend in Adelaide with there own magic round but have called it Gather Round haha what an absolute shambles of a name.

I reckon PVL would be laughing with his feet up and a scotch over that one.

saw the interview last year when Gil McLauglin announced it

first question he was asked "are you going to call it Magic Round as well ?"

A big no from him, then I got AFL trolls on social media trying to tell me they didn't copy it from the NRL cuz they came up with the idea first

The NRL need to put their foot down next year with Magic round..

Their is too many games on prior to Magic round at Suncorp. The ground is not going to be suitable for 8 games next weekend.

Tonight there is a Onion game in and the ground looks shit.

I'm pretty sure magic round is signed up for next year in Brisbane

However there was some talk it may move city after that, possible venues include Townsville, Adelaide, Auckland...
