Come on man! You seriously expected Grant to do more then what he done? Look at his team mates for crying out loud. It’s an average team! On top of that, consider the injuries they suffered, you seriously think Grant was going to overcome that and the tigers produce a win? You’re being extremely harsh on grant, especially when at one stage parra had 70% of the ball in the second half. He played way above reed, and has been doing it all year, take the blue and gold glasses off.

Cam Smith would of been proud of that performance last, had it been him playing for the tigers. Grant is the only reason they’re in the 8. Take him away they have sweet f all!

I've said my piece several times now.

I think both hookers played well, but Mahoney's ability to pull off the 1%er plays helped us secure the win.

As for saying he's played way above Reed all year, I think that's debatable.

Grant has probably played above Reed on the last few occasions, sure - but don't discount Mahoney's start to the year.

Yep Harry Grant was one of the Tigers best last night...and probably all year.

Mahoney was one of our worst. A couple of errors, 3 passes that missed their target and hit the deck and 2 really poor decisions with the ball (1st not giving it to Moses for the field goal which Moses let him know about and the 2nd when he didn't realise it was the last and passed to the wrong player). His poor effort along with Matto also led to their first try. Two weeks in a row he has been poor. I hope BA gives him a rocket. Maybe he is just burnt out? Unfortunately he could be shit for 6 weeks in a row and he will find himself in first grade because we don't have any other 9s that can play first grade in the club.

Agree with all of this except I think it was Matto and Reed that led to the Tiger’s first try.

Sorry mate, I wasn't actually trying to have a go at you. My comment at the end was more of a obviously feeble attempt at a joke. Sorry again. But I also think if Harry was in our team he would of dismantled the Tigers like a surgeon.

I think Grant is a better player than Mahoney, in the sense that he is a significantly better playmaker. But he should also cost a lot more, meaning Mahoney is the player that suits us better. Mahoney has better front on defence and probably a better kicking game. Plus he's cheaper.

Thought our 5th tackle option was poor a few times in the 2nd half deep in their half. The 3rd and 4th tackle leading up to the 5th wasn't much better. Needs addressing

Overall considering we had a short turnaround after a tough loss, and Tigers were fresher after extra day, and a training drill v Drongos, and all the hype is how they were gonna smash us up, I Think we did more than enough to get the win. 10 day break now to get those niggling injuries right and prepare the Dogs, another game we are expected to win

I'm concerned about burning out rcg and Paulo

Maybe give marata and nrown longer stints against the dog

It shouldn't affect our quality that much
Agree ... i worry RCG is playing too many minutes .... hopefully it can get cut back later in the season

Sivo's hand did go very close to the touchline.
@Gazzamatta I don't know about you, but from where I was sitting, as soon as Reg took that pass from Gutho I knew he was going to score. The fullback never looked a hope. I love Bankwest.
Yeah. He was heading straight for me. I was worried hed jump the fence at one stage. A great night. Im sure you enjoyed it.

Probably a necessity for now..

We basically have 3 props on the sidelines due to injury, combo of any two of them are normally in the 17. And we don't seem to want to use Alvaro
