Probably a necessity for now..

We basically have 3 props on the sidelines due to injury, combo of any two of them are normally in the 17. And we don't seem to want to use Alvaro
Yeah with our bench and Nrown going off last week i get why he went the full 80

And TBH he remains pretty effective the whole time ... just worried it will tiring him down the backend of the season

He has actually become my fav eel atm

big shout out to the Townsville Tradie, thought he showed some skill last night

needs to up his work rate a bit but for a bloke who just played his second game and put in a big shift, I reckon he will be upgraded or extended as I think he showed he is a keeper

If Matto is out next week he could get a start ahead of Taka, fitness depending

I’m happy that we won.

You f**king weirdo......

I felt Mahoney took some bad option a few times. He also needs to support a little more and just run when gets ball from an offload. He is playing more confident and like a leader though.

I think he goes left way too much but i assume that is the coaches call.

Waqa. I watched him closely last night and he is noticeably looking for more work. But that in and away he put on in the second half was class. Not many centres can do that sort of stuff anymore. That's why he excites me, even though he has some flaws.

I noticed that too, there were 2 times where he went looking for the ball got it wanted to spread it left and the players out there the first time were having a committee meeting so he couldn't pass it and then he did it again a little later and there was another committee meeting but he passed i this time and it went to ground.

I’d be happy if he took lanes starting spot

Imagine playing in a team that has only lost 2 games after 11 rounds and your supporters are calling for you to be dropped when your stats are pretty good.......only Parra supporters........

Perhaps I do overrate them but honestly you must have got a different telecast from me last night because I saw Fergo do everything I described

Fergo may not be as effective as he was previously but he he is taking on a lot of the responsibility of getting us out of our own end and not shirking anything, he was very good last night i thought.

Marata is a savage. Love what he is doing atm but Nrown is the most underrated player in the game. How his name never comes up for SOO is beyond me. His play speed and enthusiasm is unmatched. Plays like that kick chase late in the game to force the error from mbye is what changes a games momentum

If NBrown was bigger and played with the same passion and intensity he would be the best forward in the game imo. He is sensational for sure but i do think his size is a slight disadvantage to him as he can be dominated at times. He is a valuable player for us though and i love his attitude!

He’s behind

Smith
Friend
Korisau
Grant
Cook

he’s not even in their league to be honest. He probably mid table. Not saying he’s a terrible player but def overrated by our fans. I like his desire but needs to Inprove his running game. And tonight his passing game was poor again.
So he's 6th out of 16? That's not too bad.

P.S. He is better than Friend.

I thought he had one arm on Sivo which makes it not a shoulder charge.
i seen it a few times, both arms were tucked in, he aim the shoulder on purpose, cant blame him. how else would you stop, or slow down sivo, in those situations , go for the ball is a must

My concern is our attack seems poor on the right. Bar Guth sweeping with a cut out ball to Sivo we do not have much else at this point. The way our forwards dominated last night we should of racked up atleast 20 points in that 2nd half.
Moses chip and chase was a one off. We need to be attacking the middle and right better to be a force.

Doesn’t matter. He wrapped the arm in the same movement (even though it was a millisecond after), which is why he didn’t get charged.
Tbh there are probably softer things called a shoulder charge .... but i think the rule is puss anyway

Yea softer things get called a shoulder charge in a game at times but not many go to the judiciary if there is evidence of a wrapping arm.
