He was shooting out those Mahoney like passes all night. Possibly the second smartest guy in the team after Moses.
What was really impressive was his defence around the ruck. He cut off so many potential breaks through the middle with diving legs tackles. Lussick can not do that.
Hands is effectively still a rookie and if he can hold up physically the team will reap the benefits of his superior all round skills and fitness.

The excuses for BA are getting as stale as what the tripe we were producing under him.

We looked a team refreshed last night with a spring in there step. Last week was BA's funeral i think the team were still processing the shock he was gone.

As much as some of the players loved Brad I reckon the players may be surprised how refreshing it will be to have a new voice with a different positive & warm fuzzy outlook. I think Barrett will get us playing some pretty attacking footy it will be up to the players weather or not we can or want to defend on how we go for the rest of the year.
It’s hardly surprising that the president and vice president of the Bea Arthur and Joey Lussick fan clubs were happy to talk down the win and certain players efforts. So obvious, predictable and easy to read as a Bea Arthur game plan.

He was knackered. Baz said so in the post match conference but he still didnt just watch like lussick

What about when will was knackered and he got the ball and his legs didn't move

Also, re smart, in the presser both guth and baz laughed at lane being intelligent but thinks too much

You could see how tired he was but dug deep and kept putting in.
After the game he was sitting next to Moses diagnosing the game.
Baz needs to keep the faith. He is going to get better with confidence.

The pressers are a lot more exciting these days.

Barrett has been dealing with the media for nearly 30 years so he is a pro.

Watching BA say the same things win or lose after each game was getting infuriating.

BA answers were so basic & vanilla all it was "we were just dumb" or we did what we were capable off.

No imagination or ideas on how rectify the issues.

There was very rarely anything about oh that plan worked we had been working on that for a few weeks.

didn't take Barrett long to rectify one of Bea's biggest mistakes.
Too bad he's only got 12 more games to rectify the rest of them.... Maybe he'll rectify the whole list if he gets the gig fulltime and we sign him as coach...... until the year 2036!!!

Amirite huggers?!

It was nice seeing some attacking structures inside the opposition twenty. That nice try with quick service from Hands, to Moses, to Brown, who straightened the attack, to Gutho, for Sivo try. I nearly slid off my seat.

Of course he has. His game from March to now is chalk and cheese, slowly eroding away. I wasn't the only one to see how well he was playing.

You linked to a thread where only you and pou said he was good and 84 baby gave him a couple of points too .... infact your post is pretty much pleading for others to agree with you that lussick was good.

Another quality fact check lol
