Just heard Gutho on the radio. Same sh!t excuses. Mentioned chasing me collision. He is not interested. Talks the talk can’t walk the walk.

Was at a sports bar down here in the Illawarra watching the game with a mate (also eels fan)
Funnily enough there was a lot more dogs supporters around than Eels ones. Which added further to the embarrassment (and loud laughter their end) as the tries kept coming

*sigh*

Already got tickets to the Roosters game, and taking a few Roosters mates.
Any realistic and plausible ways to abort ?
Borrow someones positive covid test?

He's just parroting he's told to say.

He's disengaged - is it possible that Arthur's ridiculous style of play is starting to wear thin on the playing group?

On the flip side how good was Burton. That was a master-class.
Dogs had 2 x intercepts. We butchered 3 or 4 tries. It isn't an excuse but is reality of what happened.
I thought Sivo went well unlike many on here, Especially for his first game in 9mths. He was powerfull.

Our problem was intensity. And giving Burton aslomg as he wanted to kick the ball.
Mahoney is falling out of favour for me. Watching Marshal King go who is in excellent form the Dogs might be downgrading.

There is no way this board, who have ultimately been chosen for one thing, corporate responsibility, would sack the coach with 2 1/2 seasons left on a contract. It would be pretty irresponsible corporately to do so. Whether it leads to the team heading to the bottom ladder would be fairly irrelevant to someone who is corporately responsible. Us coming last would not impact either of our two largest sponsors (NRL and Parra Leagues) and the amount of money they provide to us.

Ultimately the only way Brad Arthur won't be the coach of Parra for the next 2 1/2 seasons, is if he finds another gig.
I'm not so sure about this.

What would you like to see change? Do you feel we have juniors in our system who are close to NRL in the next year or two who could have huge futures?
I think our forward pack is strong but we lack Mongrel. Someone dirty who fires up. N. BRown used to lead the pack but seems like the fire in his belly is gone.
The rest are all to clean skins. Not enough merkin in them.

We still have a strong side. Its certainly capable of turning it around. Things just look stale.

We aren’t particularly reliant on the NEM up here. The majority of our electricity comes from renewables.

I'm suprised solar on houses isn't more popular. And how many people who are all for renewable yet don't want panels ruining the aesthetics of their house.

Controversial maybe, but for this year, I want Lodge.
There is no way he would have stood by after TPJ smashed Dylan yesterday and sure, a couple of the forwards did fire up when TPJ went off again later, but not when Dylan got hit early on.

You think we lack mongrel and someone dirty who fires up - say Hi to Matt Lodge for the rest of 2022 and we are a different side heading into the finals. Just not sure we want to pay his asking price.

And overpaying keeping there salary cap out of whack.

If RCG throws the dummy and scores or finds Papali'i we are under the posts 6-4 up and completely different ball game.

Game was lost in that moment.

We have 2 or 3 forwards that are 18 months away from FG which is probably why names like Davey get thrown around. Davey is someone who we know can do a job (and we know the job he will do) but more importantly, he wont stand in the way of some of the juniors like Brazel, Tuivaiti and Larry Muagututia who are all close.

Agree but at 10 - 0 and most the game still to play against the side coming last we should still be able to flick a switch and win.
Imagine any other side in top 8 being 10 nil down at that point. Would you back them or the dogs?
Even after halftime I felt we would win. Probably should of scored right after halftime and made it 16-6. Lacked composure, intensity, desire. Looked stale and uninterested

I've not heard of Tuivaiti. What grade is he playing? And Brazel is he out for the season?
I have heard people wrap Larry.

There isn't really a fix for attitude problems. They play poorly and for the next few weeks they play well. Whatever happened appears to have worked until next time they don't turn up. They aren't computers, they are human beings. There's only so much a manager/coach can do. The fix involves removing personalities from the group and bringing in new ones.
Bullshit …..a Bennett, Bellamy would not accept this rubbish

I think he was still playing Matts this year but there are some huge wraps on him coming through from what I hear.

Probably not popular but its hard not to be pleased for Jackson and Potter. I quite enjoyed their presser.
As long as Gould dosent stick his head in trying to claim credit for yesterday Im ok.
Well done Dogs. Definitely the better team won.

Who was lead commentator for Fox League yesterday it wasn't vossy was it as he was in Redcliffe yesterday morning.

Our record when Vossy calls a Parra game this year is 7 wins 0 Losses
And when he isn't calling we are 1 win 5 Losses.

He may not be everyone's cup of tea but he seems like our good luck on Fox League.
