BOM tells me that it feels like 1.7 degrees right now in Parramatta. f**k me it’s going to be cold out there tonight.

Warriors $6.50 for the win
or $26.00 for 13+

Im having some of that

Walsh will try to prove himself for the year, will have a corker
Johnson is due for a screamer
They have a great pack with AFB back, and their bench is a lot better

Warriors 34-18

So we come to the last third of the regular season. Have we been sitting back waiting for this period to make our run for the Finals?

We have 8 games, 7 on either a Thursday or Friday night, and 6 at Comm Bank. Anything less than a Top 4 finish from here is a significant failure.

BUT

We know who these muppets are.

We've gone WIN-LOSS-WIN-LOSS for a couple of months now. This is a LOSS week. Can we change this sequence?

We've not shown a propensity for turning up in the right frame of mind for games we should win this season. Why will we do it this week? I can't see us with our mind on the jobs, unless we've been waiting for this time to make our run.

If Junior doesn't end up playing, no Matterson, and we've dropped Brown from the Reserves, then this just sends a message from the coaching staff to the playing group that this match is not important.

If Junior plays (even if he is on the bench and treated like our standard 17th man) then it sends a message that the time for talk ends and the time for action starts now.

We'll learn a lot about this mob tonight, both coaching staff and players.

Do we win and win well, struggle to get the win, or do we get a score put on us by another bottom 4 side? The end result tells us plenty of where we're at.

Interesting game tonight.

Very true. I think a lot of the "lower" teams and coaches must look forward to playing us, and likely have us marked as mentally weak for the reasons above. We're always seem a possibility for them to snag a rare win.

lol

Or

If Junior having just played in one of the toughest Origins in history, and coming from interstate.

Is it better for Parra and Junior that he is rested, only 2 days from the Origin game?

Learn what?

We already know we are inconsistant

Really gonna learn anything if we beat the Warriors?

Last year we were downhill skiers this year inconsistent. We are slowly getting through all the scenarios.

Put Junior on the bench and treat him as player 17 (i.e. the guy who doesn't get a game) unless we really need a lift. Whether Junior plays or not sends a message to the players, either way.

That’s silly, if he ain’t right

An injury and HIA and he is forced to play decent minutes. In an era of player welfare, would be a dumb thing to do

Hopefully this is the case for all us heart broken eels fans , will ramp it up at the right end of the year

Hopefully a solid win tonight to chalk up another 2pts
