Id like to put Brandy and Joey together in a cage match to the death. The biggest pair of know it alls but actually know fu*k alls in the game. Cant stand them.
PS. Fittler runs a close third. Maybe he can fight the winner.
Must have there shoes off and the fight must be on the grass though.

Penrith are a well-drilled, highly-disciplined side, even with one man down.

Their defence is the best in the business, even with a player sent off.

I think they deserve some credit.

They weren't a well-drilled and highly-disciplined side when we played football in the first half though were they?

All these excuses are just that, excuses. We had wiped them by the end of the first half. They had to do so much more tackling then us that they were spent and would have been preying that we didn't come out in the second half with the same vigor and tactics as in the first half or by the 50th or 60th minute they would have been absolutely fu*ked and the points would have come thick and fast.

And guess what? Their prayers came true and we came out as meek as a mouse and gave them time to reclaim the ascendency and they ended up outscoring us. How pathetic and embarrassing on our behalf. What do you think would have happened if the tables were reverse and we were the ones playing with 12 men? Do you think the Panthers would have bumbled around like we did and lost the second half?

Just caught up on the fox post game show.

Gee Brandy was quick to grade the Clsary tackle a Grade 2.

Poor guy looked shellshocked on the panel tbh.

And should board members be talking about possible outcomes at the judiciary in regards to there team before the charge sheet comes out.

Coaches get in trouble if they talk about it.
One of the things i found funny was they started talking about how it went bad cos liam martin fell off the tackle and didnt hold him up safely .... lol

yes its true, that can happen, but the chin still lifted and drove him neck first as hard as he could

I'd actually say alot of tackles endmup bad because of the 2nd guy in the tackle dragging down the head end while the leg end merkin lifts ..... but this was all chiiny lifting and driving

They showed the potential penalties .... it is apparently confounded by an earlier dangerous tackle. So grade 3 is 6 weeks down to 5 with an early plea .... he will be exceptionally lucky/favoured to get less than a grade 3 .... so thats out until finals

We were leading 12-4 when Cleary went off their attack was shit up until half time and they were all over the shop in defence trying to organise it.

In attack they were throwing the ball around trying to chase points which isn't what Penrith do. They kick long chase hard and get back in the game with their defence like they did last week.

But ignore this and complain 🤣

Last night was further proof we win games despite the coach. He must of gotten them in at half time and give them a dressing down for the expansive and exciting footy they were playing. Just like the Roosters game we were back to one out hit up Bald Bea Ball. That second half was just further proof we aren’t even close to being a contender this year. Against 12 men with a 15 man bench we should of put them to the sword instead we showed what we really are capable of.

@Gronk 😂🤓🥸🤓🥸🥸🥸🤓🤓🤓🥸🥸🥸😂
Wow you must really have something firmly wedged in there ..... i guess the coach never talked to them before the first half .... makes sense

To control the ball. Penrith were the ones behind on the scoreboard. If they had been playing to win they would've made more errors and we would've gotten more opportunities. But there was no scoreboard pressure on them because they accepted the loss at halftime. They just stuck in the grind and we had to oblige them. Don't read too much into it. While they were desperate and trying to win we smashed them.

Ah yeah...Nah. You're an idiot!

Hot take but I think this Penrith outfit of the last 3 or so seasons is one of the most overachieving squads of all time. They’re obviously a great team but no way should a team with that roster be 18-2 for the season and be hardly losing matches for the last few seasons. Even the peak Storm with the likes of Slater, Cronk, Inglis and Smith didn’t achieve what they’re doing now and they’re all much better players than what Penrith have. Just shows the current standard of the competition.

I think it’s a weak comp.

Footy players aren't real smart. There's not much the coach can say other than "Stay disciplined and don't turn it into touch footy". How that impacts the players' decision making on the field is up to them. You give the coach too much credit (and criticism). On the field it's the players who make the decisions. They're not robots blindly following their programming.

Souths have two dux in their respective schools in Johnston and Murray. Were you dux of your school merkin?

The Cowboys are currently second favourites with a spine of Drinkwater, Dearden,Townsend and Robson. They’re obviously having a great season but that doesn’t exactly scream premiership winning spine to me. We should be firmly entrenched in the top 4 with the current standard of the competition so it will be the biggest missed opportunity of the last few decades if we don’t do something in this years finals.

There wasn't much we could do in 2nd half.

We didn't get a penalty and just got one 6 again all half.

Penrith played defensive conceding the match just played completions and made us work it out of our own end.

Penrith are still a strong defensive outfit and a champion team it was a pipe dream putting 50 on them.

Take the 34-10 win and Nathan Cleary copping it from a pumped up parra crowd after being sent off.

That just shows how sh*t we were and the opposition doesn't need to blatantly break the rules to desperately defend against you. Teams that receive penalties generally are earning them.
