Anyway, that was a great game and a fantastic advertisement for RL.
If we'd lost I'd be disappointed but wow, watching on tv it was just gripping stuff.
To walk away with the win was just icing on the cake.
We, as Eels, haven't come out of games like this with much success over the years.
It was such a great feeling to be able to give a fist pump at the tv when Stone's try was finally awarded.
It has made my Saturday night.

Kafusi also ran down Papaenhuzen with an important tackle.

I'd have to take it all in. D.Brown was excellent, Lane excellent.
Jnr and RCG 2nd stint excellent. Guth was good also.

Penisini still has a bit to learn in defense. Would love to see him get more early ball.

I thought Papali'i was ok. Bit poor in defense but was a good running game.

Mahoney had a stinker.

agree some really good performances with some big average ones. The defensive lapses are a massive worry. The high light was Dylan Brown his performance today is what is expected from a 5/8.

No, they are not.
Do you watch any other games?
Our defense was actually quite immense tonight if you watch how much ball they had in our attacking zone.
The red zone defence was really good, but we’re still conceding too much in the middle of the field and letting teams get into our end too easily. I’m surprised at how many tackles just aren’t sticking and how much second phase play we’re letting happen. Mahoney especially just seems to be falling off tackles after making decent first contact. Bit of a worry I reckon.

Yes it was 8-3 line breaks in Storms favour. But we had a bit more desire and held strong. They have better attack and more explosive players. Penrith when all fit will be the benchmark thou.
We beat the Storm and didn't even play anywhere near our best plus have 3 or 4 players to come back. We will get better. Storm I don't think will a whole lot.

This. Embarrassing that any of the usual negative dickheads would even try and make an appearace tonight. 3rd straight victory against the Storm is apparently not good enough...
