Not sure why Gutho ended up being the play kicker at the end of the game ..

Sanders to me should have slotted in to half and let Brown play his natural game..

There was that dud kick from Brown that ended up a 7 tackle set to the Tigers. Gutho thought he would kick it but in the end it was too late.

Not sure if Sanders has a good kicking game but I would agree if it will allow Brown to play his natural running game.

Was also disappointed with Dylan as he was outplayed by 18 year old Galvin today.

Been saying this for a while, Dylan is in and out of games and not consistent. Galvin making Dylan look like the inexperienced rookie.

Galvin has a coach who knows how to use him ..
He did 2 things today and that's all he needed to do. Put a kick in and run at a tired defender.

Brown is stuck on the left and barley links up with his other half...

He should be playing on both sides of the field

I think we're done and won't make the 8. 2months without our main playmaker is too many losses to recoup.

I don't know what rabbit BA will pull out of a hat but I don't see it happening.

And fk TCT the wanks convinced me Blaize was the right choice at 5/8th. We had 2 5/8ths out there. Sanders should come in if we don't want Canberra to towel us.
Re TCT, they have also been pumping up Matt Arthur. FMD, saw him today and he’s slower than freaking turtle. They actually don’t know what they are talking about. It’s not normal to get this amount of talent predictions so so wrong. It all started with Superman.

Yes I remember that terrible kick!

Sanders seems more composed give him a job kick/ run /pass he will be fine.

Well now in hindsight, it seems geniused that we wouldn't play Sanders, a halfback , in a halfback position, particularly when he has all these wraps on him and is already being circled by clubs, but I guess that's the BA way.

It seems to me that bushy tries to make it about him and his tactics that wins games, that's why he's always tinkering with the bench

All Sezer did today was pass and kick on the last he took bugger all runs..

That's all we need in a half while Moses is gone.

Schnieder on Thursday just passed and kicked nothing over complicated. Leaving Luia at 5/8 to do his thing..

BA nah f**k that lets rejig the backline

We have taken the Tigers lightly on Easter Monday for 4 years straight.

Clearly the message isn't getting through
How do you stop players taking the opposition lightly? It’s not as simple as saying don’t be complacent. Nobody warns players against complacency when they play the top sides. So as soon as you mention it you’re reinforcing the fact that you’re better than the opposition. Better teams are complacent against us. It’s an occupational hazard. No need to piss our knickers.

Was also good to see our utility come on and play....

Checks notes...

Hooker....

Nah f**k playing him at hooker in cup he is a utility!

(Sivo apparently injured... Isn't that why we had hands? Move Blaize to centre Harper to wing Hands to 5/8)

If this game was ’crucial’ then every game is.
They are. Every one is worth 2 points. That’s how many more points we needed to make the top 8 last year.

Competition points are crucial at all times, but particularly when they’re easily winnable and you’re trying to bank ‘easy’ points due to circumstances (such as having your best player out for an extended period). This one really should’ve been won, and it hurts not to take the points.

And thats why Paulo started. Brown has been criticised for not controlling the game but that was not the plan. The coaches plan was for Paulo to take charge and Brown to play his usual game.
Agree that must've been the plan. Shame it backfired on us so badly though.

The last time I looked the Tigers were mate.
We are not the same side as the last two years of wooden spoons, different roster, different board/CEO and coaches.
We'll surprise a few teams.
Parra will be there at the end Hindy.
Losing Moses didn't help I feel. I remember him putting on a cricket score against us not so long ago.
Tigers defence was very good today. They seemed to always get that extra defender involved in each play while we didn’t.

As someone mentioned before, that's two weeks in a row that someone has down those hay maker over the top passes, thinking the winger is about 10 ft tall and has the pace of an Olympic runner.

Why would you persist with that play?

Infact, I dont know why they kept persisting going down that side. Did they expect Sivo to sidestep inside and offload or outpace his opponent?
He’s scored plenty of tries, including one today.
