Was watching the reserve grade game. And there’s one play that I saw that sums up this whole shit of a club and our current management and that is:

the opposition player was trapped in goal, two Parra players are around him. The player then gives up and stands still to succumb to the tackle in goal. So he’s standing and waiting, the two Parra players lovingly oblige and literally hug him, so that he is comfortably and lovingly held in goal.

Why didn’t one of them try a one on one strip? Actually f**king use their brain and try and strip the ball to score. Ok, let’s say they didn’t have the brains to think of that. Why didn’t they put him in his arse?

It’s a small thing but This is our club. A f**king soft choking culture and it starts from the top. Not remotely ruthless enough. Sack the f**king lot of them.
That's not nice

last 15 games only 6 at home.
Brisbane,Storm,Roosters twice. Manly,Warriors away and Penrith to come.
Of those 9 games I don't predict many wins if any. Draw gets tough. We needed a huge start to the year
They won’t all be at full strength.

BA coached side has never won 4 weeks in a row without byes interrupting them.

2019 round 19 to 22 is the best a BA coached side has ever done in consecutive weeks when it comes to winning streaks without a break.

The other times we have won more then 4 games in a row were in 2017 when we had 2 byes in a 6 game winning streak so never had more then 3 weeks straight of winning.

2020 the 2 month covid break split up the 5 game streak at the start of the year. 2 wins before the break then 3 straight after.

Last year we won 5 straight games but we had 2 byes in that period. So split the wins in 2 and 3 week patches.

That's facts the BA defenders can't challenge.

4 weeks in a row is the best BA can manage.

The only thing BA has evolved in is getting the media on his side.

You hear a pin drop when it comes to his coaching from the Sydney media.

They all love BA. He tactics are critiqued more on here from people who give a shit then the actual shit stirrers in the media like Buzz Rothfield who is on the Dogs back 24/7 because of his fued with Gus Gould.
Well spotted.

What a pathetic performance. More than our fair share of ball, their play maker in the bin, penalty count well in our favour, a sold out crowd and our coach and players dish up that shit.
Gutho and Brown tried hard, but Brown is not the game manager we needed.
Moretti and Offa were probably the best of our forwards.
The rest were average at best and some were just plain poor.
I know we have nothing to replace him, but Sivo needs to be dropped. As does Lane.

Think the issue for a lot of fans is the predictability of our game, got, home and the wife said “that was so boring, we didn’t do anything”

At the game , it was just stale, not a lot of smart plays, loads of crash balls at the line and our left edge was slow and ponderous. Pass es from Lussick and others were messy and some of the drops, like Harpers that basically gave field position for the Tigers winning field goal, were so predictable. Feels like the call for change is louder and necessary, our recruitment committee seems unwieldy and old fashioned. Oh well, suck it up to next week, but thing s need to change . Big crowds and membership are possibly under threat if we continue down the same path we’ve been on.

There in lies the problem, people keep packing the joint, whilst that continues, I honestly think nothing will change
I am not giving up my season ticket though.

The moment you give it up you lose your seat and get sent back to a waiting list.

Giving up your membership or not turning up is never the solution. There are other ways to demand improvement without turning your back on the club.

I want us to win to every week. Yes it won't happen but gee look at Penrith haven't they turned themselves into a juggernaut.

They were a basketcase like us in 2011 when Cleary 1.0 took over. And now with a system in place just roll up everyweek expecting to win with or without Chinboy.

Were still a lottery on what to expect on a weekly basis. Gee it must have been good to be a parra fan in the 80s when they won 85-90% of there games between 81-86.

If Dylan learns one thing from today it's getting tackled on 5th tackle.

I reckon it happend 4 or 5 times its all good running the ball and gee he was threatening but on the last we had no one to take control when he is playing the ball.

Gutho isn't the man you want continually kicking at the end of the set no matter how hard he tries.

Beating Penrith is irrelevant to today's performance the 17 named should have got the job done against that tigers

Worry about next week - next week.
We can worry about whatever we like. We are fans not players. There are unexpected wins and losses every year. This was one of them.

Not sure why Gutho ended up being the play kicker at the end of the game ..

Sanders to me should have slotted in to half and let Brown play his natural game..

Interesting I had a conversation with someone about 30 minutes before kick off and he asked me how Parra will go. I said they should go ok but you just never know, I think his son was kind shocked and said "No dont worry, we've got this". But the bloke I spoke to understood what I meant and said there wasnt much of this doubtness back in the 80s and late 90s and 2001.

I think we're done and won't make the 8. 2months without our main playmaker is too many losses to recoup.

I don't know what rabbit BA will pull out of a hat but I don't see it happening.

And fk TCT the wanks convinced me Blaize was the right choice at 5/8th. We had 2 5/8ths out there. Sanders should come in if we don't want Canberra to towel us.

Agree 100% on all of this.

Sanders should have come straight in.
