Shaun Lane has been the biggest disappointment for mine this year.

Maybe its just his confidence is completely shot from the injuries last year.

But something is off and he has been poor in the first month of the comp.

Also, how the f**k did we not know who our goal kicker was? Russell was the only one practicing in the warm up. Took the first kick from the corner and missed. Sacked then Gutho took over. Surely that’s something that gets decided during the week. Why give Russell the duties if u r going to sack him after one sideline miss? Complete lack of leadership from the coach and players.

I noticed he was distracted by the ref when taking steps back for his kick. After giving the ref a nod he continued taking steps back.
I don't know why he didn't start his routine from the beginning.

I agree I have nothing against Blaize but he isn't a fullback for me.

He should be in cup playing left centre next no Guymer and Sanders developing.

Our left edge is crap and I am going to go as far to say it's due to Brown as well as Lane...
Both players have been the only constant and should be making better defensive reads.

Having the coach change the combination of winger/centre each week doesn't help either..

The left edge in defence wasn’t the issue, that part of the game they did well. Attack was weak and not up to standard. Both Harper and Sivo get dominated too easily and without any real pace, they offer too little. Lane is going through a bad period, he could come good, not sure about the other 2.

Simmonson couldn’t do contact training due to protocols, so understand why he played Reggie’s, should be in the team next week, in place of either Harper or Sivo.

You don't see them shifting their whole backline due to 1 injury

Teams are smart kick to Sivo he does his dumb run and step isnt an issue then Harper takes the next hitup and gets dominated...
