Now you’re just making shit up. Lussick left the field in the 53rd minute when we were up 14-6. He was brought back on in the 73rd minute with us down 14-16.

If you have to tell lies to prove the coach is shit, maybe he isn’t.

Yeah BA brought Lussick back after we went behind..

Someone's birds are telling porkies!

Don't waste your time on me mate. We lost 3 grades on the weekend. Shine on you crazy diamond.
And played atrocious against less than middling opposition in the two senior grades to my eyes - but that’s just bad luck right? Nothing to do with coaching or preparation.

And if we’re bottom eight again it’ll be for the same reason. Or is it because the coach doesn’t know how to get a team into the top eight?
That has never been the argument nor the standard and you know it. As usual you are incredibly disingenuous for the sake of months of argument for your own twisted pleasure

The argument has long been that this coach can’t achieve a premiership and that his structures and tactics and squad management are destined to fail. Again.

From the evidence available thus far, we are about to have yet more of the same with no change in coaching or management in sight

It is flat out ludicrous to think this is acceptable.

lets have a look at our 3 top grade squads:

The NRL For/Against is currently better than the season average of 20.

Flegg is terrible and Cup doesn't have defense.

Well you would think that after last season they would have a plan in place if injuries did occur...

Of course they do. But having a plan doesn’t mean you don’t miss a beat. The plan is for Drown to take over the kicking and one of the backups to step into the vacant half role. When Sanders is ready I suspect he will go straight into Moses’ role to take the kicking pressure off Drown.

But whatever the plan you can’t avoid the fact that a huge part of your salary cap is unavailable. Moses is probably our highest paid player. We should be worse without him.

Yesterday wasn't a good plan and it failed.

When Sanders is ready isn't a plan you are hoping for going into round 4 of the 2024, 11/12 seasons into your coaching career.

I disagree. We lost because we took shortcuts. Sanders hasn’t been killing it in reserve grade and Talagi is an obviously better player.

You’re assuming we would’ve gone better with someone else in the halves. I put it to you that that player’s weaknesses would’ve led to bigger problems and a worse result than a one point loss.

In any case there is no evidence that a different halves pairing would’ve led to us remaining patient and not taking shortcuts. We missed Moses’ leadership as much as anything.

Of course you disagree........................... When don't you f**ken disagree with someone's different position to the coach?

What's the players weakness?

Gutho basically had to go to halfback because the change failed. good call

Cup can only play for 60 mins. Twice now, when I've been watching, they've been run down in the last 20. Maybe I'm the bad luck genie when watching.

That’s one way to kill any argument on the coach - as a mod just decide to strike any opposing posts!
It's got nothing to do with being a mod. Nobody has done anything with any posts.

This cannot be admitted as evidence, Lionel. I hope you are not relying on hearsay.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, however -

Its disappointing that Dylan Brown has not developed a long kicking game in his 100 FG games.

Especially when he plays alongside one of the best long kicker in the game.

W-T defence was better than ours and when our forwards were dominated we played panic ball, throwing stupid balls to players in worse position. We needed a calm head to take control but there wasn't one and we were clueless in their 20. Blaize also a poor defender and needs more time to become stronger in the upper body rather than being pushed off easily. No easy fixes there as our backs cupboard is bare with Harpic being slow and Sivo being useless. Simonsson at least provides some speed and needs to move to centre with Harpic to cup.
