I am not giving up my season ticket though.

The moment you give it up you lose your seat and get sent back to a waiting list.

Giving up your membership or not turning up is never the solution. There are other ways to demand improvement without turning your back on the club.

I want us to win to every week. Yes it won't happen but gee look at Penrith haven't they turned themselves into a juggernaut.

They were a basketcase like us in 2011 when Cleary 1.0 took over. And now with a system in place just roll up everyweek expecting to win with or without Chinboy.

Were still a lottery on what to expect on a weekly basis. Gee it must have been good to be a parra fan in the 80s when they won 85-90% of there games between 81-86.
Couldn't agree more. Going to an Eels game is more than just the game for me. My son and I have had season tickets and have been going to games since he was 3 months old. Souths thrashed us and he screamed the joint down the whole game🤣

At 15, it is still one of the things we bond over, talk about and rejoice or commiserate about every week. But either way, we turn up to the next game full of hope again. He is already talking about driving me to games when I'm too old to drive myself.

So, I'll never give up on team. And I'll hold onto the bond with my son as long as I can. But yes, I'm ready for a change in the coaching ranks.

As I see this as another rebuild year (we have less than 5% chance of winning the ship) I would gradually get Talagi into fullback and move Guth to centre or wing.

The way we played yesterday I am not convinced we win even if Moses was playing. I have seen us play that poorly on multiple occasions even with a full strength side.
We have in the past (but not for a while) been that side to play great vs good side and shit against side that we are supposed to beat. So I hear you.

I didn’t think we were that poor, we are just deficient. Horrible outside backs and a fairly slow ordinary spine. The hooker and outside backs situation is just signs of an ordinary club. Did we even put in a bid for Oram last year?

Blaize isn't a fullback as much as the team wants him to be

At the moment he's nothing more than a young merkin learning stuff. I think the mistake is to expect him to be the solution or even a significant part of the solution. The solution should be coming from Dylan and Gutho and the very experienced pack.

He's better off in NRL than NSW Cup though, surely.

I like the kid but he needs to come through and play centre he doesn't have the game awareness to play fullback..

Can not defuse a bomb.

I don't blame him he probably could be a fullback in a year or 2 but he has gone from...
Halfback to centre to fullback to centre to 5/8

I don't care what people say you don't develop moving around so much...

And he wasn’t the issue yesterday, thst left edge for us was abysmal. Lane, Harper and Sivo presented no threat and the team knew it. That’s why the concentration was middle and right edge.

The need has been for an elite left centre since Jenko went, it’s so obvious and painful. The genius in HOF signed a slow, experienced and obviously cheap player in Harper. First step in revitalising the club is change, move the CEO and get someone like Ponisi to oversee the clubs footy management rebuild. A change in focus at R&R and definitely HOF would be the start , and maybe move BA to an overseeing role and get some fresh coaching ideas in .

I agree I have nothing against Blaize but he isn't a fullback for me.

He should be in cup playing left centre next no Guymer and Sanders developing.

Our left edge is crap and I am going to go as far to say it's due to Brown as well as Lane...
Both players have been the only constant and should be making better defensive reads.

Having the coach change the combination of winger/centre each week doesn't help either..

we were poor in that we were dropsies or throwing crappy passes. We spent so much time in the Tiges 20m zone and came up with very little due to these bad passes and dropsies.

if they were on and the passes stuck, we would been 18 more points up.

We missed the playmaker due to the closeness of the scores.

And all we had to do was move 1 player into halfback.

Just like most teams do.....

Panfers move Schnieder to half
Broncs Madden to half

You don't see them shifting their whole backline due to 1 injury
But Bea knows best. He's the professional. He knows his team for so long

So BA would be the only Eels Coach your boy has seen? Canberra will be a huge game. The drums will be beating louder than ever if Ricky gets up. I guess this season already has its excuse with Mitch gone for up to 12 weeks.
