I hardly think that many of these players are going to play rep footy this year or in fact any time soon. But they are all recognised as future rep players.

Gutherson is a gun and a future rep player, it's just unfortunate that he won't get picked ahead of the others.

My point about future rep players was mainly about our forwards. Brown is the only one and that is simply not enough.

I don’t think they pick origin players on how versatile they are. Maloney will be 5/8. Even tedesco will be in front of Gutho. And I don’t think they will pick him at centre

I don't think our issues are a lack of rep players, but rather that, given the roster we do have, we are not tactically suited to many styles of football...

I genuinely thought Moses and Brown would work their way towards that slowly but surely over this year but maybe only Brown still is.

Just because the selectors have preferences doesn't make those who miss out lesser players than those who make it. Especially in the backs, where you've probably got 12-15 players who could fill those five spots.
