On the whole Dylbro / Shrub saga, I'd suggest given the fact we are down to third or fourth string outside backs, and the way we used Dylbro at "centre" during the game, merkins are having a bit of a lend of themselves saying BA pushed Brown out of position to favour Jake.
Brown spent a good amount of time with Lane on his outside in attack, which allowed him to play as he does at five eight at any rate. He defended at centre, which no doubt was good for Perham with talk and positioning, from what I noticed he was pretty much only at centre in attack on transition from the kick taking the second or third hit up.
Our second try, Brown is at first receiver on the short side, Lane on his outside who sucks in Gagai off the wing ( where he's defending that play ) allowing the offload to an unmarked Perham.
Our Third try, Rheed takes off down the short side, Sucks in Clifford enough for Brown is at first receiver t get well on his outside shoulder, again Lane's on his outside, which holds up Gagai just enough for Browns big left foot step to get him past Gagai's inside shoulder.
In attack Brown played pretty much his normal role, but with one less bloke on his outside, he really wasn't moved out of position in a way that meant he couldn't play his natural game, yet our defence didn't suffer from the lack of having a specialist centre on his side.
Jake for the most part was just doing whatever the f**k Moses wanted him to do, which seemed to work well for Moses.
Dare I say it, I reckon given the circumstances, that's good coaching, and made the most of the players we had available.
