forward pass

The pass wasn't such a sitter when you watched the head and side on angles. It was a touch back and up, and maybe a bit earlier than he expected. It was actually a big play for him to be there. And most of all he probably thought hayne was going to stroll
past and pop the ball down. I know I did.

Wasn't an easy pass for sure. But if you watch it, Peni looked towards the tryline and then just as he looked back the pass hit him. Not sure why he was looking away but he was.

Always annoys me when we bomb a great try!

I actually thought he was checking to make sure he wasn't going to run into the posts. Either way, I thought it was the fact that he looked forward that was responsible for him dropping the ball.

I have a good feeling about the game this weekend. If we can contain Nathan Brasta we should be in with a big chance. Tim Moltzen is out with injury is another bonus.

Eels by 14.

The thing is, with Farah out, the Tigers will definitely try to bash us up through the middle. Our pack has competed well with the more fancied opposition this year, and will have to give as good as they get.

We stop their go-forward, we beat them.

Yes, many of the band wagon commentators have stated recently that we have more points in us than the other 15 teams.

Well if we can't beat them without their gun fullback and their fearless leader hooker, then we never will.

Let's hope we turn up. I recall getting pumped by a St George reggies side once. ](*,)

Being such heavy favourites, it's going to be shit if we lose.

Then we'll be all butthurt like the fans of all the teams we've spanked this year.

With Terepo out we've lost a heavy hitter both in attack and defense. Sure, he has a few handling and defensive mistakes still in him but against this Tigers pack we need all the heavy artillery we can muster. What is everyones opinion on this, do we gain, equal or lose firepower with Lussick coming in, Terepo dropping out & Allgood staying in the 17?

We weren't able to stop the go-forward of the Roosters. Their forwards rolled over the top of us easily in just about every set. Luckily our goal-line defence was up to scratch because we weren't able to contain them in the middle of the park, nor keep them down their end.

The Tigers pack has been doing very well in recent weeks. We are going to have to do something different if we are to stop them from making easy metres against us.

Reasonable decision I thought... There's still some serious ammo off the bench, particularly if Allgood plays like he did last week and Pauli is getting better with every run..
