That's typical of Poo. The lack of cohesion part, anyways, as not all of his posts have good analysis. While the merkin sometimes comes up with something half-decent to say it rarely has structure or cohesion. Just go back and look at the preview "article" he wrote - some decent info but absolutely terribly structured.

What would you say is the problem, the edges or the middle half? :sarcasm:

Do you mean the left halfback or the right halfback?
Eddie, I'm using the call to phone Jack Gibson.

"Hi Jack, what are your thoughts on Poo Poo and his middle half, left half, right half con-cepts?"

"Casper, Poo Poo is a f**kwit. I never let know it all smart arses near my squads. For f**ks sake Casp, it's just a game of rugby league. To get a leather pig ball over some chalk and a black dot, we have short, tall, thin, wide, red, yellow, brown, black and white blokes on the field of various ages, cultures, creeds and standings, running, passing, catching, kicking and diving for 80 minutes in the sun, at night, in the rain, in the mud and in heavy winds, just to get a body to flop with a piece of pig over a chalked line.

As a coach I just look for the most passionate hard-working blokes I can find who want to play hard and smart for 80 minutes getting a dead pig over a chalked line and black dot. Then I just throw them all a pot luck jersey and spend at least ten months a year getting them to get a pig over a chalked line and a black dot more times than the opposition. This no rocket science Casp, f**kwits like Poo Poo are wrecking the Earth completely with their so called "intelligence", and now as I look down over these f**kwits they are are trying to scientifically advance rugby league with new buzz words like "middle half".:crazy:It makes me mad Casp. :x"

"Thanks Jack"

Lock me in Eddie, I go with bullshit.

I reckon we're a chance of winning this game, especially with Farah out.

Arthur is doing the right thing by not publicly praising our results, and focusing instead on the improvement in effort for the quality and consistency he's wanting to see. If we don't start to believe our hype, we should be able to leapfrog Wests Tigers.

Looks like Terepo is getting time off through the rotational policy, with Lussick's return.

Like how Kelly got rotated to Wenty for a rest?
You could say Sandow was the first rotation, starting the season at Wenty for a few weeks, being fine tuned to return to first grade better than when he left it.

And yes, Arthur doesn't look like he tolerates missed chances or lapses too well.

Or he's been hooked for dropping that sitter from Hayne

No way was he arseholed just for dropping a ball. He did well to even get into position for that pass. Where we all the other supports?

More likely is that Terepo was dropped for lack of effort in defence.

Yeah I'd say it was more for his poor effort to stop Moa scoring in the first half.

Peni made a few handling errors against the Broncs as well. Arthur wasn't happy with our defence in middle the first half and Peni went off fairly early so I'd say that's the reason.

Do you mean Glenn Stewart the edge forward?

I was comparing blokes who play in the middle of the field (and lock scrums ;-)).

But if you must compare, here's their stats:

Paulo: 386 minutes, 151 touches (0.39 touches/minute), 55 runs (0.36 runs/touch)
Stewart: 252 minutes, 98 touches (0.39 touches/minute), 35 runs (0.36 runs/touch)

Identical (to two decimal places) ratios for involvement and the frequency with which they run the ball. However the fact they play different positions (but wear the same jersey number) doesn't exactly make for a useful comparison. Or does it?

Keen to hear your thoughts, or the more likely dismissive bullshit you merkins tend to come up with. I don't mind either way.

So you agree? Paulo plays middle edge forward.

That wasn't so hard now was it!!

The pass wasn't such a sitter when you watched the head and side on angles. It was a touch back and up, and maybe a bit earlier than he expected. It was actually a big play for him to be there. And most of all he probably thought hayne was going to stroll
past and pop the ball down. I know I did.

I reckon it was that there have been a few errors over a few weeks and the message was that of you make the same mistakes someone else will get your spot.
