FFS. I don't want to pick on the guy but everything Jake Arthur does is f**king slow motion but worse, his outside men get smashed... It's beyond nepotism or factions now. He's not first grade standard.
lol yes Jake Arthur is the problem tonight.

I think the opening rounds confirm what most of us thought. We’ll finish 5th-8th, hope we’re fit for the finals and peak at the right time.
Not looking forward to next week and if Jakey is playing, I won’t even watch it.

Would we lose anything much by swapping Dylan Brown and Jake Arthur for tthe second half? Jake defending in the centres, and Dylan trying some things closer to the ball to try and get us back in the game?

It's less predictable, given the Cowboys have clearly done their homework on what was last week's "surpise" positional switch and have our measure.

Hello darkness my old friend

Gronk gave me a spray when I said these guys will give us a shake. And we need to be on our game to win.
This is what we are Jake. Up for one down for the next. But hey atleast orange juice boy Arthurs is getting expereince.

Mate, that’d be admitting that jakey boy is not up to it. Daddy won’t allow that.

We can't capitalise on high amounts of possession because our attack is eye up ad lib. There is no purpose or structure to anything we do.

We appear to have come with the approach of trying to grind our opponents down and wait for them to capitulate. That would seem to be a fairly dumb approach for a match in the tropics against a team from the tropics.

We've got sweet f**k all otherwise. Our general team play is its normal pedestrian and predictable self.
That's exactly what Poupou Escobar suggested we do, in his early game post in this thread... a very short-sighted approach.

Epic fail by Parra. Honestly we are well off the pace and bereft of ideas in attack.
Lane looked lazy from the get go. Not blaming him and he has a few mates but this 1st half performance is simply not good enough..
Out coached, out enthused and out played...worrying about getting the fkn red eye back tonight to play riff on Friday...seriously..priorities...win this fkn game first

Drown's staying in his lane tonight, needs to get infield more and get himself some ball, can't see any other change that'd help our attack, just really offering nothing in the red zone.
