? "plus one side not performing. ....." WTF! ?

Mate you've literally said that a Sydney team "not well supported outside of their immediate area." after repeatedly saying that all the Sydney teams are so hugely popular all over the place like some sort of weird mantra for as long as you've been clogging up this forum with your stupidity!

You can do all the mental gymnastics you like but saying that a team both is and isn't well supported outside of their immediate area is a contradiction, a massive contradiction!

Money isn’t a bonus, it’s required to run the competition in the professional sporting marketplace. Rugby league doesn’t exist in a vacuum.

The NRL can’t keep supporting uneconomical clubs. They’ve said as much too.

Oh no. That line is no go without junior development and cultural significance. You lose those 'traits' you lose money and the code. Don't get me wrong I'm for the money aspect however those other factors are just as important. It's a sport. It's measure of success is more than money. It's relevance and participation. These factors are just as important. In fact the aim should be to propagate the code with the money it makes or its cash flow. Money for money sake is part of the deal but not absolutely just part.

States PR the trumpeter of implosion, ignorance, inconsistency and poor judement along with disrespect, poor mathematics and geographical, cultural understanding of Australian sport. Especially rugby-league!

Wow! You fit all of your catch phrases in one post - lol

Sydney clubs? Yes absolutely Rabbits, Eels, Dogs, Dragons have fans all over the country and overseas. The bears..... don't.

The Bears do. Unfortunately this ignorance is hurting the code. Their are plenty of Bears fans about. Many don't support a team anymore. Others have gone to other codes. Many are waiting for the NRL to come to their senses and revitalize northern Sydney and gain the Central Coast. But given the negative thoughts we see that's actually a real battle.

Bears playing Mounties on the Central Coast right now, no one there. Accurate simulation of a bears game in 2022.

Lol. 2nd grade does not count! You should know that being a rah rah man? Afterall union is probably 3rd or 4th grade level in intensity and playing skills compared to elite stuff (RL).

How does it feel knowing that the best player to ever put on a Bears jersey is Robbie Farah?

Bears hardly had any fans when they existed in nrl, even less now. lookIng at the lack of cover at CC stadium it’s probably just as well we don’t have a club there fulltime, rainy games would be lucky t9 get 6k.

Confirming your ignorance again?! They were and surprisingly still are popular. As with all of the Sydney based clubs. You continue your incessant and reckless tirade on the code in Sydney!

I saw a bloke in the crowd with a bears jersey on. He also had a Souths cap on and was cheering them on. Seems he has moved on. Wish others on here would!

Dumb comment, they were the second highest drawing club in Sydney in 1994.

How many members do they have?
How many went to another code?
How many were lost to the game?

I want numbers, not just your opinion on what happened.

Over time you meet people and do actually see facts like North Sydney junior rugby-league clubs dropping from 22 clubs to 9 with sparse numbers in two year age groupings that have been decimated since the demise of a top flight club. But no this sought of fact and common sense message/indicators are not seen as relevant to the ignorant ones trumpeting "Nothing has gone wrong!"

The Bears have half a million fans in Queensland, so says them. ;) Just imagine how many there are in NSW!

Ignorance abounds well in this forum. The Bears were popular , just like other Sydney clubs, but were shafted. Other clubs were shafted as well however their is a massive void in top flight rugby league clubs in the northern Sydney region. This is giving other codes a free kick .These codes are AFL and Union. No doubt they are thankfull for the poor strategic decisions and mindset of some within the administration and on this site.

And yet another thread gets derailed by the troll. If it’s not bears it’s union. Ffs start your own threads and stop infecting all the others with your bs!

Nice selective stats picking, that was their best year ever! How were the crowds in years before it. In 40years they had two good ones lol.

You still don't get it do you PR. By this club achieving such a high result means that their is achievable support about for this club. I mentioned the word dormant support a while ago. This is a feature for all the well established Sydney clubs and NORTH Sydney is no different except they have been shafted.
