Redcliffe put their hand up

Yeah, it's a nice position to be in to have a few good Brisbane bids floating around. It's a shame because I actually find Nick Livermore (CEO of the Bombers) to genuinely love the game and seems to have a lot of passion behind his project. I'm sure all bids do but it would be nice for the winning bid (if not the Bombers) to get him on board because he seems to be a good operator.
Wayne Bennett has been linked to the Dolphins. Maybe he could get Livermore to jump on board as well.

If the bombers bid/consortium joined forces with either of the qcup bids I think that joint bid would instantly become the sure favourite

Atm the favourite seems to be whatever one is currently in the media

Yes good point. There is no reason why Easts, Redcliffe and the Bombers couldn't form the Brisbane Somethings playing out of Suncorp and using the Tigers and Dolphins as feeder teams. The combined assets of Easts and Redciffe with the corporate contacts of Livermore and the the Bombers board would certainly make a splash in the NRL and Australian sport as a heavy hitting club.

Murdoch would come over to Australia to throw another tantrum.

Surely all News Ltd gets to do is say "we aren't paying extra". What other power do they have to decide about expansion. I think really the issue is the clubs do not want expansion because that takes money away from them and also threatens their existence especially the small but powerful suburban sydney clubs.
By saying they aren't paying extra they decided....and no expansion happens

Ne expansion for Brisbane. Wooden spooners, clearly no expansion needed until the existing team gets stronger :)

EAST, COAST, DOLPHINS
Colors of RED, WHITE, Aztec GOLD, BLACK
easts and falcons both have these two extra colors, falcons are more gold, easts are more orange.

Originally i thought if the Dolphins went out on their own, just add Grey, and Gold to their colors and be like the opposite to the Cowboys, and as SQ.

Just needs a bit more red, or maybe just not bother as the main jersey will be red anyways.
Did this on my phone, so not really aligned properly, but you get the gist

Make the gold part red, and you've got it. Add silver to the traditional red & white.. don't bother with gold or yellow - other expansion teams will use that, and it strays too far from their traditional colours.

Get rid of the ring just the dolphincoming out of emblem with the red and white etc colours
A few years ago a race horse was attacked in the Brisbane River by a bull shark. If Cronulla ever relocate to Brisbane then their logo could be a bull shark chomping on Buck the Bronco under the Story Bridge.

I reckon it will be a great addition to the NRL. Moreton Bay Dolphins has a great ring to it, and can represent Moreton Bay Region, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane bayside suburbs and Redlands. That way the coast from the Sunshine Coast right down to the NSW border is represented.
Need more than one game at sunny coast to appeal to us, look how successful the storm were up here.
I’m hoping for 2-3 games for me to get a membership and support the team.
