It's not official because I just picked a description that denotes someone of behaving in a manner that is not conducent to normal behaviour . . . maybe not litterally correct but affective.

Anyone who can't offer an opinion without being abusive, derogatory or belittling to anyone with a differing opinion is my version of a 'redneck'. A forum should be considered a place of sharing and comparing. Anonimity is no excuse for the lack of being able to speak face to face,

So you came in here with the preconceived idea of how people are on these boards and come up with a persona to try and catch people out, or belittle them, by using cryptic messages.

Rednecks to me are people that react without thinking...open their mouths & S*** comes out e.g. personal attacks instead of debating the issue, shooting the messenger etc. I think the analogy is quite apt.
I think Popeye doesn't have a pre-conceived idea of people on these boards he's just read enough on these threads to see that there's a whole heap of posters that take the option above rather than debate the point intelligently.
We all know the ones...cmu that they react to the bait. Clever fishing imo & he has the last laugh - pity so many fall for it and don't take him on where it counts

I think it's the gronks that follow and stalk other posters and attempt to ridicule their "target" no matter what they are saying, that's forced Popeye off into his own self imprisoned Island.

I think you (Popeye) had a similar complaint (whine) along these lines last year?

didn't say I didn't understand or enjoy it - I find it entertaining as hell sometimes...some of the humour on here is wicked.
But sometimes its good to have a debate with someone who is trying to get a point across without the personal crap.....looked waaaaay back on the forum pages a while back & there was a lot less of the OTT reactions & helluva lot of good conversation/ arguments about RL. Guess the bar was set a bit higher back then

Sheens should give away the Recaro's and move to a bird's eye view permanently. He has to take more notice of what Benji's doing and as Johns said last night, take note of where Blair needs to be.

Better still, he could put on a blue shirt and coach the team from the middle of the field like Alfie does.
