People come on forums for a lot of different reasons. Some are lonely and just want someone to talk to.
Some are little people who like to be seen in a big car. Some have opinions and want to see how many
disagree or agree. Some are like me who play mind games as well as have an opinion. All want to be
heard and replied to in a civil manner. At the end of the day it's very unlikely that anyone will have their
opinions changed

I can't for the life of me figure out why front men think they are chosen because the people they are
trying to impress are dumber than they are. The vast majority of League supporters, the quiet ones,
are shaking their heads. Stuart is there to get the players in the right frame of mind for the game, the
League public don't need to be convinced of anything.

All the bullshit aside, Blues supporters are going to go to the 2nd game hoping for an upset. An upset
because the Q team has all the advantages. They are simply more experienced as a group and
nothing's going to change that until NSW become experienced as a group. Absolutely nothing to do
with 'passion'.

Adam Blair blames himself for not playing a bigger role at the Tigers and Sheens says although he is
happy with the effort he expected more from Adam off the field. Tim really needs to get away from
the players during the game and sit somewhere he can see what they're doing. Blair has always been
no more than just a cog that relied on other cogs, he will never be an extra cylinder.

We may see a few articles like the one using Moffet to promote dissention but they are just wannabe
journo sideshows. The ARLC are showing that they are doing what they were commissioned to do, so
the process is self explanatory. Of course we're going to have a new 'Superleague' . . . the vibes from
the Commission are telling us that the game is going to be super in the future.

Before the game, which has none of the ingredients necessary to prove anything, we will have to
endure another nauseating media beatup trying to bill the AAMI clash as match of the round. A bye
would have more relevance than this game. Let's hope if the Commission won't move Origin to the
end of the season when the year can be finalised by a real climax they can at least play the thing on
stand alone weekends.

In the blue corner we have journo Barry Toohey and in the red Matty Johns, both fighting over the
same picture of Bennett. The blue corner says it depicts a frustrated coach and the red a dumb one.
Bennett basically says he is struggling with the mindset of the players and Johns is building a new
agenda to replace the one Farrar f**ked up. Hard to keep up appearances when you only have an
opinion and the other bloke has runs on the board.

The other Johns has been sent to rescue Sandow. If talking until he's blue in the face doesn't work
maybe he can prescribe something that will take away the fear of the opposition. Who cares if Sandow
runs around all glassy eyed as long as he takes on the line in attack and stays in it in defence.

The self proclaimed leader of the journos has posted another list, this one on the best buys of the
year. He has James Graham who barely has enough stamina for club footy ahead of Nate Miles who
is an established Origin gladiator. Then we see Inu who at best rarely goes on more than a three
game sabbatical above Will Chambers who doesn't need anyone's blessing to perform consistently.
The best laugh of all is seeing anyone above Hasler or Maguire

More of the 'immortal' shit going on this time with Meninga's face prominant. People are deemed to
be immortal after they die because people want to be reminded of them when it's no longer possible
to see or touch. Unfortunately that won't do the magazine that thought up the idea to sell copies any
good at all . . . they want the money now.

As much as I despise anything to do with the US except Charlize Theron it would be interesting if
the referees informed the crowd why a decision was made like the yanks do. Could you imagine
the crowd in a 20 second silence, even the babes with hands over their mouths after the Inglis try.
Wouldn't stop half of them busting out in a tirade after the ref finished explaining but the other half
would understand the justification.

Hope that never happens but all jokes aside imo the referee boss should have a debriefing of his
troops every Tuesday and every Wednesday at 12 noon a statement about all contentious
decisions should be released. The statement should not be open to debate from the refs or their
boss. If the ARLC has any queries they deal with it in-house. The referees couldn't be accused of
hiding anything and all the public can do is bitch amongst themselves.

If players didn't make mistakes we wouldn't need referees. If referees didn't make mistakes they
would be robots. If the public are happy calling the winner of the last game of the year the best team
for the year any bad referee decisions pale into insignificance

I thought the Storm had no chance so I watched the fights instead and turned over for the
last couple of minutes. I will have to watch the Fox replay to see the new glamour team,
the Wests Tigers, in action.

nice sarcasm (?)...but seriously, why doesn't Bellamy give some time for back up players to the 'big three' to play in FG prior to when they actually have to cover for their absence? rest one of the big three on occasion & give the others a chance to play under pressure - the experience would be invaluable imo for times like this. I know storm can afford to lose a game atm (maybe) but can they afford to rely so much on the 'big three'?

Bellamy already does what you ask. They were a bad kick away from beating the tabloids' second best
team last night. Every Storm player except the front rowers is trained to be multi-tasked and it almost
worked. Last night's team would still be guaranteed one of the eight floats in the gf mardis gras.

Interesting to see Adam Blair, hat in hand, saying the Tigers are still building. Don't expect an
appearance on Grand Designs Australia if it takes your team this long to build Adam. The Tigers have
been receiving a few donations lately and they got one from Melbourne last night. After donating to
their pals at the Save the Sharks Foundation a few weeks ago and again last night they have shown
they are not a heartless machine.

Is Andrew Webster a Queenslander . . . come to think of it imo a few of the journos must be closet
Queenslanders. He asked Hayne, who is the most confidence affected player on the planet, why
does he play so well one game and mentally absent the next. Bet Webster and others like him
went around sticking pins in balloons before they realised there was a way morons who type can still
make a living.

Then we have another f**king idiot in Steve Crawley. While awaiting a position at NASA this bloke
informs us that if Pearce and Carney don't stand up in game 2 NSW won't have a chance. Is he
saying they are laying down because they can't manhandle the greatest Origin team ever
assembled. What's the alternative Steve . . . talk Benjii (Fuse up Arse) Marshall to jump ship.
Maybe encouraging instead of denegrating an inexperienced halves pairing might see a light at the
end of the tunnel and with a bit of luck you may have something to write about that doesn't show
you to be f**kwit.

Good to see Minichiello staying with the Titans . . . and why wouldn't he. Except for a search for
Prince's replacement, which they may already have, Gold Coast have all they need to beat anyone.
Same story for them as it is for the rest of the teams . . . concentrate on keeping the trickle of
young talent flowing by showing it's a good place to further a career.

I feel like I'm cruising the streets the night before a council pick-up looking for something to keep me
occupied by breathing new life into it . . . the tabloids have a lot of rubbish to sort through. Seems Furner
and Carney now have safe jobs so Bennett is going to be the new whipping boy. Seeing big Willie standing
tall as the best of the Knights says it all for me.

Imo there a half dozen players better suited in his position for Origin than Watmough and he would never
get a run in a Q team . . . then again, Ashley Harrison would never get a run in NSW so there you go.
Choc can't lose, he's not 100% so either he's going to be a hero if he freaks a good performance or a
martyr if he goes down fighting. X-Factor would make a great tattoo.

I must have missed something at the Junction. I thought that Pearce, like Fittler before him, was established
as a long term Rooster and loyalty was only a side effect of some very lucrative arrangements. Rumblings
about him becoming a Tiger can only be a sparrow fart, surely. While on the subject of the concrete jungle
JWH says there must be more discipline. I don't think he's talking about the coach or the players off the field
but the penalty count on the field. I've long thought the Roosters the most hard done by and the Seagles
most favoured . . . sometimes makes you wonder if officials do have pre-conceived ideas.

So, the Q team is worth a million more than the Blues. Ricky must have missed that one but I'm sure he'll
pick up on it. Not the half of it really when you consider the individual player worth is doubled by the team's
worth as an experienced group.

Gould has visited Lewis in the Blues camp to make sure the bloke is in the right frame of mind for Origin.
Maybe he's worried that Jennings will get into his ear. Scratching up IQ points for this pair is like chooks on
a concrete path but Luke is a great player and respected off the field by all. Wouldn't put it past him if the
invitation was made by Stuart.

Finally we have Johns telling the halves they must run to the line . . . imagine that in an Origin game

I was so young, just a schoolgirl. He was an older man, so wise in the ways of the world. He used to come around the schoolyard, day after day. I so admired his persistence. Even the restraining order my parents slapped on him was no deterrent. He opened my eyes to the arts: music, clog-dancing, WrestleMania. His work has meant so much to so many. And I owe him everything, Topper. Everything.

I'm happy with that if you are . . . nice to see you're grappling with something other than where to

The bloke tried too hard but there are signs Dugan might have a footy brain, a novelty at the Raiders.
His ego and willingness to take the line on are a major plus for a 5/8 and his tackling is as good as
Lockyer could muster. His kicking and passing will improve but both look pretty sharp for only the
second game out. Afraid it's too late in the careers of Raiders players for a novice coach like Furner
to instil a defensive discipline so it's a matter of outscoring the opposition
.
I will try and watch every Raiders game in future as I don't ever want to be accused of missing any of
Edrick Lee's career. With the inevitable kilos will come inevitable greatness touch wood.

As individuals the current crop of Knights players may fit into some of the good teams but as a group
they're very ordinary. Simply a contradiction. They bought some very good ingredients, Snowden for one,
then resurrected some that should have remained burried like Buderus, Tahu and Mason. They bring
players from anywhere that sends a message possible junior brilliance is not wanted and praise overrated
players like Mullins.

Just a vibe but maybe Newcastle players are petty enough to believe that you only put in for the dollar
amount you get out. Aspiration to them is something you take for a headache
