I can't for the life of me figure out why front men think they are chosen because the people they are
trying to impress are dumber than they are. The vast majority of League supporters, the quiet ones,
are shaking their heads. Stuart is there to get the players in the right frame of mind for the game, the
League public don't need to be convinced of anything.
All the bullshit aside, Blues supporters are going to go to the 2nd game hoping for an upset. An upset
because the Q team has all the advantages. They are simply more experienced as a group and
nothing's going to change that until NSW become experienced as a group. Absolutely nothing to do
with 'passion'.
Adam Blair blames himself for not playing a bigger role at the Tigers and Sheens says although he is
happy with the effort he expected more from Adam off the field. Tim really needs to get away from
the players during the game and sit somewhere he can see what they're doing. Blair has always been
no more than just a cog that relied on other cogs, he will never be an extra cylinder.
We may see a few articles like the one using Moffet to promote dissention but they are just wannabe
journo sideshows. The ARLC are showing that they are doing what they were commissioned to do, so
the process is self explanatory. Of course we're going to have a new 'Superleague' . . . the vibes from
the Commission are telling us that the game is going to be super in the future.
Before the game, which has none of the ingredients necessary to prove anything, we will have to
endure another nauseating media beatup trying to bill the AAMI clash as match of the round. A bye
would have more relevance than this game. Let's hope if the Commission won't move Origin to the
end of the season when the year can be finalised by a real climax they can at least play the thing on
stand alone weekends.
