Ref's shocker costs Knights - Sterling

Unfortunately there's nothing that you can do about it.

The Panthers/Knights game should be fun. Both teams usually get ripped off hardcore by the officials. With over 57% of penalties going against both teams... and both teams being on the wrong end of video referee rulings on trys.

The reality of it all is we go into the match against Penrith ( who weren't expected to make the 8 ) with only die hard Knights fans thinking we can win the game. The same Penrith team who only 2 weeks ago who were expected to get SMASHED by the Dragons and lost only by a point even though the Panthers were rorted by the ref.

We go in as $2.65 underdogs in a two horse race.

We go in as heavy under-dogs before a referee can even blow his whistle. Before we can even get " rorted " by any ref

Surely that suggests that as a team, we simply aren't bloody good enough.

Face some reality Knights fans. Please.

I wonder if putting Karma in his cage for 3 months has just made the problem worse now he has been let out...

Well, I have NFI what your post said. I saw it was from you and didn't bother reading it. Just replied with a simple word that I'm sure a lot of people would agree with :)

Oh good one JD ;-)

I, on the other hand, enjoy reading your posts, and those of others in here looking at blaming everyone else other than the team themselves, because I find it very comical. Laughter is good for us all right :p

Its a forum full of Knights sympathists who fail to recognise the inadequacies of the team, and continually blame other factors for the failing of the club to make the finals.

Instead of having a good look at within, looking honestly at the problems the team has, its always easier to blame someone bloody else. Isnt it?

And because I speak my mind about the averageness of the team as a whole, I'm the worst Knights fan in the world

I think the NRL ladder speaks volumes for the point I am trying to make.

If you read everyone's posts properly before shooting your mouth off, you'd see none of us have blamed the ref purely for our loss last week. Its not that we lost, because we weren't good enough, no problem, but the actual issue is that we were denied the opportunity to win the game by having blatantly wrong decisions go against us. It's not just Knights fans who are saying this, one of the best minds in the game (Sterlo) dedicated an article in the Herald today purely on the game last weekend.

$2.65 odds on any team against the Panthers is great value for money. We're inconsistant at the best of times, and have only won 1 of our last 5 games.

Plus we still have a lot of players who have only played a few games in first grade... and could struggle to perform consistantly.

So its the battle of inconsistent teams to see who can be the least inconsistent over the course of 80 minutes?

actually i agree most of what karma has said. it's the reason i've been so quiet in here lately. i do think he's got it wrong in one crucial area. the problem isn't skill or depth, the problem is maturity and experience.
