Scott probably deserves it given the year he is having (and no Bird or Cordner), so happy for him.

Mullen is just the unluckiest bloke. Really feel for him that he's been leapfrogged by so many inferior players over the years.

I feel like if he played for any other team in the comp bar maybe Parra and Canberra, he would have had a much more successful and decorated career. We have ruined him slowly but surely... and we continue to do so. It's so fortunate that he has stuck with us... he's one of only a very small handful of blokes who gets what it is to be a Knight and understands what he is representing. I think Willie gets it, too... Gids gets it, but couldn't do anything about it even if he had 10 rockets reemed up his clacker.

I'd be so filthy on the team after last night if I were Mullo.

Really guys, you can't blame the selectors for not picking Mullen. He goes missing in big moments. His passing game is HUGELY overrated. His kicking game is close to the best in the comp (if not the best). His defence is near flawless. But he touches the ball twice (often once) in attacking sets. He knows he can kick, therefore he appears to just wait till 5th tackle to try to get points.
Reynolds may very well be a flop, but he sure as shit will be trying his merkin out, in the thick of things for 80 mins.

Funny we have two rep players from our team and one is probably the most deserving and the other one of the least.

Will a thrashing of the blues see Mullen come into consideration? Not a fan of the dogs halves and can see it coming.

No, a thrashing will see a stay in the dogs halves or return of roosters halves.

This years halves are the best we've had in 4 years imo

Let's just hope that the Blues have a good kicking game in game one. When was the last time a Blues team actually found the grass with long kicks and could create line drop outs? It would be years I reckon.

For sure, far better than the roosters halves but not close to being as talented as Mullen.

Johns era I'd say.

It wouldn't surprise me. All I remember from the halves last year was kicks down the fullbacks throat, no repeat sets, Maloney being a dead set speed bump. The year before that it was the same situation except it was Pearce and Carney being speed bumps. All I can say is, thank f%ck for Robbie Farah. He played the role of hooker/play maker. If it wasn't for him, the blues would have been way off the pace.

Can't believe no one has mentioned how immense beau Scott was last night! He killed it and made so many important tackles in that last 10.

He and Morris absolutely shut down Inglis to the point where he was useless. I bet there will still be people that don't see his worth though.

Edit - we should do whatever we can to get Te'o IMO. He was absolutely immense last night. So much impact.

I might be a Tigers supporter but I am also a Blues supporter and I came on your site to specifically make comment on Scott. He didn't make any 50 metre runs or do anything flashy that has the commentators drooling but what he did do was totally own Inglis. He shut him down and that is something that hasn't happened for years...so thanks Beau Scott I hope you can do it at least one more time!!!

I thought Scott was great, I was actually surprised when I came on this site after the game and he seemed to be copping a lot of shit, particularly early on from a lot of people. Maybe I missed a couple of things but I was happy with him.

If Reynolds is suspended I hope Mullo comes in for him. Could have used a few booming kicks from him at times last night.

The reason Scott has been cutting flak is for the misses he had early in the game that led to two breaks by Queensland.

Other than those two misses, he had a great game
