Once again, fine by me! I'm well aware of your opinion, and I disagree... I will reserve my Elliott bashing til the end of 06, when the end of his "five year plan" comes. If Elliott has said this was part of his mentality, then I will give him that chance.

But you have been asked before how that is to be done and you palmed it off on many occasions

Agreed. Bay, you've been asked by many people to come up with a better, realistic option, and have failed to do so.

As far as palming off ... thats the old chestnut that raises it's head time and time again and quite frankly is absolute bullsh!t .... I dont get paid to make those decisions .... Raiders hierarchy are in a similar fashion to every other successful footbal club, business or other organisation out there. There are personnel out there that are competent to do the job and then there are those that are not. It is up to the Raiders hierarchy to make those decisions independant of any bias they may have to any particular person.

For once I agree with you...

I understand that the Raiders hierarchy need to make those decisions, and at this point in time, they don't feel they need to, and neither do I. That's what I'm getting at with the Elliott supporting, but yes I see your point. However I will reserve judgement of all things "Raiders hierarchy" until I feel we really need to do something about the situation.

yes, thats correct .... do you find that strange jed .... if you think that to criticise/praise management or coach I have to be on the Raiders payroll you have a mighty big problems jed. As a member and loayl supporter over 20 years I think I have a right to express my opinion ... dont you.

It's dangerous to think you know people Bay. The last 3 seasons, Elliott has taken us to the finals when most "respected" football pundits tipped us to finish near the bottom. If we had gotten the spoon the last 3 seasons, then everyone would want Elliott out. The fact remains though Bay that we haven't got the spoon.

Everyone knows that you don't like Elliott. Fair enough. But you act as though you're the only person in the world who cares, and if people don't hate the coach as much as you then they don't care about the Raiders. That's BS. Other people just have different opinions, and are more willing, for the sake of stability, to give the coach more time.

bay56, what frustrates me personally is that, like Shannon Noll, you have only one song that you sing, although it's "Sack Them All" in place of "What About Me". No-one is questioning your loyalty to the Lime Green, rather I'd prefer that all our supporters were as passionate as you. But no matter how many different ways you say it, you've only got one message that you preach: sack 'em all. Constructive criticism is one thing, but you never spin any of your messages with a positive. And even when you are praising a positive, such as the signing of a new recruit, you can't resist throwing in a backhander.
