Awesome walk-throughs man. Interestingly there's a new Duck Tales thats been released on Wii U. Its basically a remake but has stuck very closely to the NES game. Very cool.

TMNT arcade is still one of the best arcade games ever!

What are you thinking of doing next?

Yeah I've seen a preview of the Duck Tales games and you're right - they've kept the platform base with pretty good graphics.

Next in line will probably be Gunstar Heroes for Mega Drive. I've just done Pulseman.

Mate I've noticed that you have 66 subscribers on your YT channel already after your first 2 videos... you're going to be HUGE at this rate. Make sure you monetize your videos.

Gunstar heroes would be a pretty epic game for a walk through

The channel is doing ok, mostly because I've been bugging all my mates to subscribe and share the videos all the time .

Actually I was lucky enough to stumble upon a Sega CD megadrive add on recently. Any games you recommend to pick up for that one?

The Mega CD was one of the accessories I wanted badly back in the day but didn't get around to getting it. The best game I played was Sonic the Hedgehog CD as it was the first Sonic game to have good 3D graphics. It also had over the top gameplay so it wasn't all platform.

If you're into playing side-scrolling shooting games, then Cobra Command is what I'd recommend, and if you're into 3D games, then Sewer Shark and Who Shot Johnny Rock were epic back then. Then they have a few titles you'd be familiar with like Road Rash and Shadow of the beast etc... but I'd watch Youtube footage first before going ahead and playing them.

Gunstar heroes walkthrough is up - 5 different parts, links should be up on the right hand side panel: http://youtu.be/3D_ROk1RsYs

Curious to know if you've ever played Rastan? I fired up the Master System today after it had been sitting there collecting dust for ages and thought why not. That game has my vote for the worst controls ever. I can't think of another game that handles worse than that one does. It looks like it has so much potential too...

You know what... I have played that game, and agree, the handles are horrid. I don't think I ever went very far in that game, it was pretty bad. However my worst ever vote for controls on the Master System goes to Operation Wolf, hands down. The fact that you need to plug 2 controllers into the system to even be able to play, then play the game with Control Pad #2 (in 1 player mode mind you) is confusing, and secondly, if you're playing without the Light Phaser gun, you will not get past stage 2, it's just that horrible. Worst experience ever on the SMS.

Dude... YouTube took down this video. What did they say was the cause? Is your channel still up?

Yeah an idiot friend of mine posted it on some spam site which attracted 'fake views'. It got taken down a few days later. I was worried my channel would be deleted. I re-uploaded all the videos though so all good in the end I guess, but all the original real views were also deleted.

How are your walk throughs doing? Might I suggest Jurassic Park on Megadrive? I can't even get past the first level in that game. Exceptionally difficult!

I'm currently working on an arcade game called Tough Turf. It's a poor mans Double Dragon. I'm also thinking of doing Final Fight 2.

I remember playing Jurassic Park on Master System and it was hard. I haven't actually thought about the Mega Drive version but I might give it a go down the track - apparently it was better than Master Systems.

I didn't even know there was a Jurassic Park on the Master System? I'll have to look around on ebay for that one!

Final fight 2 was a great game. It would be good to upload too because it was so popular. I still remember playing the original one at a pizzeria near my place when I was a kid. I could never really weigh up whether Streets of Rage or Final Fight was better actually.

Yeah JP would've been one of the final Master System games produced as that's when the Mega Drive was becoming promoted heavily marketed.

This Master System compilation video I uploaded earlier in the year contains about 10 seconds of gameplay footage from it from 3:42

Final Fight 2 and Streets of Rage are hard to separate... they are both awesome Beat-em-up games that dominated the early-mids 90s and I suppose it comes down to the console you prefer. I loved SoR on the Master System... so in a very close race, that wins it for mine.

In other news, I got an invitation from the Zoomin.TV Games network inviting me to apply to join their partnership program, some ad-supported system that will pay you for every 1,000 video views your videos receive. Sounds like a good opportunity, but I am VERY cautious about doing online business with a network located in a foreign country! Very cautious indeed!

Just saw your maximum force video for the Saturn. Very cool, thinking of picking that one up now. Seems like you know it back to front?

Anyway I came across a pretty cool retro game store in Top Ryde shopping centre aptly named Retro Games.

https://www.facebook.com/Retrogamesaus

Def worth a check out if anyone is in the area. I picked up a few mega cd games there on the weekend and also a few n64 games from the bargain bin.

Mate, when Maximum Force came out, I thought it had the greatest graphics ever. Very dull now, but just shows how much we've come since then. Yep MF and Virtual Cop 2 were my favs back in the days.

Retro Games... sounds good. I actually need to go back Top Ryde as I haven't been there in nearly 2 years. See what's new.

Hey there's this franchise that's been around for a few years too called Game Traders, there might be one at a shopping centre near you. There was one in Burwood a few years ago but it closed down. They also have retro games on sale.
