Everyone knows the negative impact of drugs - and we know heroin is one of the worst. Nobody forced her to take them, and we know her family pleaded with her to get help.

Got what she deserved in my opinion.

Feel very sorry for her family. She's obviously ruined their lives with her selfishness and she should rot in Hell because of it.

"........rot in hell because of it" ........fmd

Over react much......?

On her headstone it should say:

R.I.P
Amy Winehouse
1983-2011
They tried to make her go to rehab, but she said no, no, no.
I can't help it, I keep singing this in my head.

Probably should have went to Rehab....now I'm dead, dead, dead.

Sad news, obviously had some massive demons in her life. What a waste of such a talent

Tragic day for the industry, very sad
sad news - no
demons - Only one's she created and felt she could only cure through drugs and alcohol. No one elses fault except hers.
Waste - no
Talent - barely

dude i know its her fault she got into drugs in the first place, but youve obviously never known someone with a substance abuse problem, not too mention she probaqbly had other crap going on too
and a huge percentage of people in the world have massive setbacks in their lives, many much greater than hers, yet they didn't resort to drug abuse to cure themselves.

You've obviously never met someone who suffered setbacks and decided that its better to fight through them as opposed to giving up and just saying f**k it.

What came first thought, drugs or success.

Seems to be two schools. The types who have been on drugs as they've broken into the music business, and the others who turn to drugs when they dont cope with the fame (see Sid Vicious, in fact Filth and the Fury is a sensational doco if just for the Sid Vicioud sections).

setbacks, when she started to get heavy into drugs she had money fame everything, i wouldnt say she had any setbacks apart from maybe some mental ones and those are a lot harder to get over than say just being poor or having bad luck, it ant a really a case of just grow a set and get over it

She was successful before she started making headlines for the wrong reasons.

Not my type of singer, but certainly will not be saying anything bad about someone in death. Really sad to lose her (as it would be to lose anyone).

She was actually quite a very attractive person before the drugs and tats came into her life as seen below. RIP.

so she didn't have a hard life.

therefore she was stupid to go and get addicted to drugs and opt to get help to rid herself of the addiction.

I don't understand the sympathy for someone who essentially killed herself. People talk of demons, which most likely were not there prior to becoming a drug addict.

She made her bed and now she's sleeping in it.

Drugs man. Drugs are cool...

f**king drug addicts. Think of all the other millions of people faced with hardships far worse than these spoiled rich celebrity f**khead drug addicts and yet we pay all our attention to the latter. This drug addiction is a decision, not a disease. But we have to give money and resources into helping them instead of those who did not bring shit upon their own lives, those born in poverty, in disaster zones, with life-threatening diseases, in war torn countries, victims of abuse etc, those who need (and deserve) help, but instead we have to look after spoiled alcoholic drug addicted f**kwits because they are f**king weak human beings who only cared about their own personal pleasure and not abut what hurt it would bring to themselves and others.

That said, this is still a sad story, a needless waste of a sad story. Goodbye Amy Winehouse and welcome to the 27 Club.

Seriously, I don't get the hysteria. It was gonna happen sooner or later. She had been a train wreck from the start.

When it comes to people like these I really have to agree with the chasers song about people becoming legends when they die.

Soulja boy will die next and people will claim he was a critically acclaimed artist.

Are you denying that she was a critically acclaimed artist?

She was getting great reviews and won awards before she went off the rails. Both of her albums were acclaimed by critics, that's a fact.

p.s. Though it seems like it, I'm not even a fan of hers.
