Only thing that needs to improve is our game plan. Trying to run over them in the first 10 minutes was never going to work.

However, we have improved defensively quite considerably, imo.

He plays on an edge and has hardly got the ball, he’s been solid and made no mistakes. Brown has killed 5 sets, dropped the ball cold and missed a couple of big hit attempts. Less is more from him.

Matto hasn’t done anything but he hasn’t had any good ball either. He’s also only 40 minutes into his first game with this team.

Only thing that needs to improve is our game plan. Trying to run over them in the first 10 minutes was never going to work.

I thought we were well on top when we were in their faces with energy, and aggression.

The problem was that, as we started to make errors, and possession swung in their favour, these tactics were not efficient any longer.
