Mate you must have been watching a different game. Did you not see the Souths forwards running over the top of us down the middle? Even the commentators were saying the smaller Saints pack just can't handle the bigger teams. It's bloody obvious.

Mate, if you didn't see that, you should have gone to spec savers.

We don't have the strength or size to stop big powerful forwards running down the guts. It's plain as day.

The Dugan in the centres experiemtn didnt work. I am sorry, but Quinlan was useless at the back. He is just too small. Dugan has got to be the first choice at fullback.

I called out Creagh last season for being past it... Too slow for a running back rower and too small and lacking any aggression for a middle player...
Sadly the only thing keeping him in the team is his mate ship with the coaching team, and the clubs reluctance to drop the captain mid season.
If they have any common sense they will be asking him to hang up his boots at seasons end , but they won't .

And this...

All you have to do is look at the compressed defence. That's to compensate for the size of our forwards. Compressing to try to contain the opposition barging down the middle. And even when they do, they are attracting 4 players and still getting play the balls with a couple of our players still on the ground. Then when they swing it wide we've got gaps galore.

We need starch up the middle without relying on our backs. Plain and simple.

Yep you are right about Creagh. Not a leader. What about his last dumb play. Dying with the ball. It's good they are looking for a new coach in 2015. He has a terrible habit on kick returns.....too slow....he is missing easy 10 + metres because he basically jogs into the opposing side?

What about Beale's defence !! I understood why Runceman wasn't in due to his defence but bloody hell it can't be any worse than Beales. The only players who showed up tonight was Creagh,Frizzell & perhaps Widdorp. Florence is getting worse and allowed to try to hard ( the forwards should be telling him to piss off at the play the ball and take the hit up themselves )

Agree re Beale's defence...for what I saw of the game he was very ordinary....you know things are crook within the team when Florence isn't travelling to well......and that's not a insult to the bloke, because he's always one of our best...injury aside he seems to be well below his best lately.........
