Two wins out of the next 4 games would be great to set us up for the run home.
Not to mention if we do get beaten ,hopefully by not too much as for for and against

I don't know why they persist with Monday night games instead of Thurs.

I dont think they need either, keep it as a weekend sport. 2 Friday night games, 3 Saturday games (3:30, 5:30, 7:30) and 3 Sunday games (2:30, 4:30, 6:30)...much better for getting crowds at least.

I preferred the Thursday night game as it was on free to air. But I don't mind Monday. Means that there is more exposure and coverage of NRL over the ful week. Imagine if Thursday to Monday there were games on. That only gives you two days per week without any football. Instead of two Friday games I would prefer a Thursday and Friday game. And I wish they started Sunday football at 4 and put it on live.

Agree with what everyone else said above in that I hope there is effort and competitiveness. From memory we have a good record against Manly and I expect the boys to put effort in and be competitive. Don't expect to win though but I wouldn't be surprised if we stayed with Manly for the duration.

It would be u realistic for us to go from Wooden spoon contenders to beating the competition favourites so if we don't its no big deal. If we had Merrin & Friz I'd give us a fair chance and I'm still hopeful. I just don't want to see people getting on here and bagging players or the coach if we lose. As long as there is effort I'm happy
Then best avoid the forum if we lose because it's guaranteed.
Some only come on to post when we lose.
Haven't you noticed the absence of a few of the regular negative nellies of late?
You know, the usual suspects?
They'll be out again in droves after a loss, baying for blood.

This game is a battle of the halves Widdopp/Benji v DCE/Foran. Should be a cracking game.

I fear that tHe weekend off may be a momentum killer for the Dragons. THey were on a roll and looking good prior to the break.

Joel Thompson and co need to hound DCE all night - DCE is a special player who has been in form last couple. I think this game is winnable if the Dragons keep up their latest form and we get the bounce of the ball at critical moments.

This game is a complete mismatch on paper, so hopefully fans are realistic about performances.

As always, a few early tries (to us lol) and you never know, but im more interested in how we compete, the result will be a bonus, but it will be hard to defend that backline for 80 minutes.

I actually don't think that head to head it looks too bad Rev
DCE, Lyon and Brett Stewart are fabulous players
But Duges, Marshall and Widdop aren't too shabby
We had Foran and Mattai's measure last time we played and the forwards pretty well cancel each other out.
The may shade us but it's at Kogarah and we have a pretty good home record against the Eagles.
One of the two big tests for us I reckon in our run home and a win would really put the cat among the pigeons

Foran and Stewart have been the real destroyers over the last couple of months.

Dont have the stats, but I cant remember when Manly beat us at Kogarah.
I remember we had a real good run against them from 1997 to 2007 or there abouts.
Kogarah games that is.

I think we're playing them at a good time, given our recent form. A win or a close loss against the favourites, then the semis are a real possibility.

If its a blowout, we're back to square one. One way or the other, we'll have a good indication of where we are at.

Were definitely capable of the win, we would just need things to roll our way, ive watched Manly games and they just find a way to get home.. so much big game experience, grand finals.. origins.. combinations are all set.

With us I feel like were still 12 months away from finding our straps, Marshall has literally just walked in the door and Widdop finding his feet/confidence, centres and fullback still being shuffled, 2 of our best 3 forwards out, I just want fans on here to be realistic is all =)

lol yes they are getting quieter. I understand peoples need to vent but we are all in the same position and at least we know the players are now putting in 100%. Lets bitch about refs instead! I'm up for that lol
