Good to see Morris back. Hope the media and coaching circus and boardroom politics doesn't have negative impact on our performance. Big ask for Mary and the boys to remain focused and beat arguably the best team in the comp. This is a BIG match for us IMO.

Excellent post as I think this is what is happening, the boys look a little disappointed or something.

W did a whole lotta nothing with the ball most of the night. Think the scoreline flattered us in the end tbh. Both teams played pretty poorly, so at least it helped that they didn't give our PD a thrashing.
Pigs did well but our edges were disgusting :( Quinlan had his worst night by far imo. Pisses me off no end with the way he puts pressure on the wingers because he refuses to take a hit up.

Bit rusty after the bye but I'm not too disappointed with the effort against the competition leaders. Too many mistakes and some poor options taken in attack but our forwards did a good job.
Wouldn't mind seeing Duges back to fb now and Farrell coming back to centre, Quinlan's been off the pace for a while now.

Even though they were awarded some iffy tries we didn't do that much constructive work.... our forwards tried hard...agree re Quinlan some of those looping passes he throws instead of head down and arse up and sprint back to the defensive line is hard to fathom most times, for mine he's not our fullback answer and never will be.....not sure when Farrell is back but we need Dugan back at fullback and someone else in at centre (and that aint Green)......anyway realistically our season is just about shot ....whilst we are trying to play some attacking footy we still have a long way to go against the top teams....still need a coach outside of our club imo

Marshall tries too hard and puts pressure on himself. He should just get down to basic football until he gets used to our "strategies".

Mate sorry but we cant afford to be rusty at this stage of the season and where we lie on the ladder.....we've had a fairly light origin load compered with some teams...its just not good enough....even though Manly got away with murder slowing down our play the ball they wer'nt that flash tonite
and it was a perfect opportunity to show if we were serious 8 contenders...we still lack structure and a decent game plan...end of story

Pretty disappointed. Made some dumb mistakes at crucial times. It could be worse though.
Agree. Thank f**k Matai went off early. He was killing our right edge.

Dugan back to fullback asap please.

Bring a hooker back to the bench too.
Yep. Rein can't be trusted with a full 80. The amount of times he stuttered and ran back into the defense while we were in good attacking territory was frustrating to say the least.

Unless you have cam smith/robbie farah in your team, you'd be an idiot to go into a match without another on the bench. I was waiting for that spark to come off the bench tonight. Didn't happen.

Leave Dugan in the centres, bring Beale to fullback and play Farrell in the left centres.

Marshall needs to be protected on that right edge like Scott used to with Soward. Ah Mau is not the man for the job. Perhaps Frizell or JDB. Everything that Ah Mau does is in slow motion.
