Tough game, pretty gutsy effort by the Raiders. We were lucky to get the two points imo.

I hope it's not too serious.

At least we get Sonny and LOD back next week.

RTS seemed to wee his pants today at fullback, guess it's a good thing Mini's going to march on for another season .

Can't expect him to be the worlds best after one week at fullback, he'll get there.

RTS' try save on Fergo may have been the difference in the end..

Scratchy game from him though..

Thought Canberra defended him well..

We never had the ball. Of course we're gonna miss tackles.

IMO to me it felt like possession was about 50/50. Even if the Raiders did have more ball (which I doubt they did) that doesn't mean we should start missing tackles. Fergo's superhero abilities aside, we didn't handle Canberras second phase play well at all.

I'm sure Robbo will have us in the right mindset heading into next week, for now I'm just happy we got the win even though we weren't even close to our best.

BTW i reckon we all hope the future chooks, blues & aussie capitano isn't too badly hurt..

It looked to me that it was his knee, but the commentators were saying it was an ankle..hope they were right..

He was carried up the tunnel. Could not put any pressure on his leg I assume that's his ankle but hard to tell at the ground. Absolutely gutted for him.

If it's a broken ankle he's a chance of being back late in the finals..

If it's a knee, then he'll get the shoulder done as well & be gone for a year..

I'm sure he has a knee problem as well as a shoulder problem and another minor injury. The guy is being held together by sticky tape and makes origin that's how good he has been.

I hope it's not his knee he's had enough knee problems.

It's those props i tell ya, they're the keys to your finals hops.

Tbh i think the Raiders were lucky with a lot of calls, so it was only fitting that when Thompson dropped the ball backwards in the last minute it was called forward, it was the only fair way to end things.

I was at the game (being close to Allianz and all) and it was pretty entertaining, you guys did miss the presence of SBW, the defense of LOD and the efficiency of Mini at the back but just like it was for us this week, it'll be a good lesson for you guys on how to deal without your bigger/more important players.

Pearce still needs to learn how to change up 5th tackle options, the constant bombing was giving me a headache.

That idiot who dropped it gave himself up. Refs weren't going to give it until he stood there.

We missed LOD. Not only his play but the balance of the team. He's been a great signing.

It's good because that game is essentially a loss. We were crap and will take plenty of lessons out of it but we got the 2 points as a bonus.

Not pretty but with so many players and positional changes we've earned a slip up. Can't of everyone every week that's the nature of the NRL.

The bombing is more about keeping the opposition down their end that attacking for a try. It's a tactic that has worked great for Easts. Territory and possession. It's fine from the 40m line. Luke Walsh was dog shit in this regard last week and showed how good Pearce is at it even if people won't give him his fair praise.

Be wary of the wounded tiger.

RTS has made a few try savers this year, and he's a very gifted attacking player also.

He's just an exciting player to have in our team. Hopefully his skills are honed right, but he's a very promising young player.
