An interesting point made on the radio today . Why is it that clubs have an opportunity to get Farah at a bargain price yet there seems to be f**k all interest in him ?

Yes, that's why I came onto the 'Tigers Forum' to find out. Why hasn't he been 'snapped up'?

We have no idea the way his management is shopping him around and don't forget that It's been reported that Robbie said he would only be willing to join a strong Sydney club that's capable of winning a premiership. That doesn't really leave a lot of clubs right ?

I guess plus Clubs may already be at their cap. Still most clubs seem to find a way of fitting in players they really want.

because clubs already have their specialist hooker for 2016.

If he was a back rower/prop/centre/winger he'd be gone already.

But hooker is a specialised role in the spine. Clubs would be stupid to not have their spine settled by now.

The timing of the announcement that Farah was free to look around was shithouse.

If they wanted him gone asap, then announce this when the trading window is open.

f**king amateur hour.

Now the club has been inundated with stories about Farah and Taylor rumours which will only lead to discontent among the other players.

Hence why Taupau left.

Hence why Brooks and Moses are holding out

Hence why there's a rumour that Tedesco might bail.

All of that is not Farah's fault. That is the clubs fault. If they revealed the Robbie would be a free agent at the start of this year, he would've had a deal signed and sealed (albeit for 2016) already by now.

He could've had his farewells, we would have avoided this melodrama.

But alas, this club has an inane ability to constantly hire amateurs who don't think any further ahead than lunchtime.

That's what is killing this club. Taylor is a by product of that shithouse management. We keep hiring businessmen who are f**king crap at running a Rugby League club, professional or otherwise.

I wonder if Jason Taylor has ever played hooker in NSW Cup. During this saga there was the opportunity for 15 other clubs to pick up Farah at a reasonably cheap price you no club has taken up that opportunity, I wonder why!

I don't think it was at a reasonably cheap price. I do hope though that Robbie realizes this is his last contract. No more over-inflated pay cheques should be offered from the Tigers.

The club apologises to it's supporters.

Apology 1.
We the Board and Management wish to advise our loyal supporters that Robbie Farah, our inspirational leader has agreed to remain at the West Tigers until the end of 2017.

We are as is Robbie, excited about this announcement as we are all in agreement that there are some exciting times ahead for the West Tigers team.

Apology 2
We the Board and Management wish to advise our loyal supporters that Robbie Farah will remain at the club until the end of the 2017 season.

We have been through some difficult times over the past season in regards to Robbie and his contract and his desire to remain a one club player. The issues have come about due to our immature coach and his lack of media skills in the 1st instance and overall communication skills.

To this end, we have decided that coach Taylor has been put on notice that his performance is been closely watched during the off season. Coach Taylor has been advised that his performance will be measured based on performances in the Auckland 9's, the pre season trials and first 4 games of 2016.

Care to add Apology 3, 4, 5 etc guys ?

As an outsider I must say that this has been the biggest disgrace that I have witnessed in relation to team management. Utter disgrace. JT will not last and will be sacked by mid season. Farah will then be on a hiding to nothing because the media will turn on him and blame him for contributing to the sacking of a third coach.

It's a no-win situation for anyone.

Club looks like shit for their initial announcement, poor handling of the situation and subsequent retraction. Dragged themselves through the mud for no result.

JT is clearly on notice now. Will likely not last the season, with Pascoe's mate Crazy Ivan on the lookout for employment.

Farah will foot the blame for any poor performances (especially if JT gets arseholed,) and IMO is no certainty to see it out, even if Cleary did end up at Wests as he has form for sacking well loved club legends.

Wests Tigers apologise to Matt Ballin for signing him on the understanding that he would be the first grade hooker. Hope you like the taste of shit sandwich, mate. Guess we should also apologise to the fans for blowing some more of our salary cap on a player we now don't need. Gee, now we think about it, if Farah was staying all along and we didn't need Ballin, we might have kept Tapau. Whoops. Better get back to reading that "How To Run A Rugby League Club" book.

Wests couldn't afford to pay him off and nobody wanted him.
