Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if Bonnie Hindmarsh's income would count as part of our salary cap? Wasn't there some hullaballoo years ago because Dallas Weston's missus got paid to shave the players legs or something like that. What's to stop us paying Hindy 50 thousand to play but his missus 450 thou to work in the office?

Bonnie was in a PR/Membership area before she became involved with Nathan IIRC, and as such her position is not seen as any sort of compensation for Nathan salary, but as employment for a person hired Legitimately for a position. I am quite sure it has not escaped the Eyes of the Salary Cap Auditor.

The Dallas Weston affair was a "Technical" breach of the cap, and not actually spending over the cap, the issue was that we didn't disclose that Dallas and his wife's beauty pallor were supplying services to the club, which we should have done and the Salary Cap Auditor found out. As long as the payments are not above what you would be charged for a comparable service elsewhere then the salary cap team are fine with it, if it more than comparable though, that would be seen as unfair remuneration and that would be a major breach of the salary cap that would involve points.

That about covers it. Cheers, Mark.

regarding Steve Edge, I believe that there's been some developments regarding his position at the club but I would rather it came from the club and not me, but suffice to say he is still involved in some capacity.

i think you'll find that the changes are for the better. the easiest way to move forward without confronting the same old ideas, is to get new blood and new ideas using people who are skilled in the areas in which they work.
