I said last week the club should be on phone with Dogs, and working out policy no media given to telegraph, the sea eagle still under siege as well, bring them in the more clubs that push back the more slothfield feels the squeeze

Media hammering dogs for getting naked, yet less than 1 week ago all ran stories about which players were left on nuddie run for not scoring.
Hooper on Triple M Sunday was having a laugh about it and saying he's not adverse to getting naked after a beer....
Now it's all shock horror.... Hypocrites

If the broncs did this though courier mail wouldnt print one word
If the filthy Murdoch rag could not hide the article as per the usual then they would revert back to the default reason.

It was Bill Shorten that did it.

They are such hypocritical merkins.

They probably printed that list to remind teammates who’s not scored & needs to get the gear off...so they can standby with the camera.

It’s all relative Stake, there’s not nearly that much money in the woman’s game.

I was originally not too worried about it but it was a blight on the game.

I was listening to a caller on talkin’ sport yesterday & he was saying the players wanted pay (salary cap) rises because they are custodians & ambassadors of the game.

Well their actions might cost the game $10M dollars at the next TV negotiations....it probably cannot be quantified but some people get highly offended by these antics.

The club let it get way out of control & need to be punished.

btw, I still strongly believe players should get their mad Monday but clubs need to keep it in check!

Cardy, i see your point but if the Tele dosent report it, or may sing and dance it vanishes.

The Tele this week should have been talking up the finals and that alone, but they love to lay the boot in to someone this week the Dogs

Frenzy.

Ever been on a Mad Monday? Even at park level. There is no keeping these in check. Wouldnt be “mad” if it was.

I went on one Mad Monday with an A Grade team in the early 90s. Was manager of the team. It went for a week. Didn’t see anything in the pics of the Bulldogs thing that went close.

All I think needs to be done is for clubs to define what really is private against what is public. There is no way the Bulldogs function can be declared private. It was in a “pub” FFS. The abbreviation of public.

Manly said they canned Mad Monday. They didn’t, they went on a harbour cruise. No merkin would know what when on. Low key, pretend it didnt happen and then make it REALLY private. No one even drowned.

Yes I’ve been on Mad Monday’s & that’s why I’m an advocate of them.

Yes it’s not a private function in a pub.

Manly did it right, they probably forced them all to wear life jackets the whole time.

The Back Page got all serious about how it was a shocking look, then all giggled at one of their own stripping for a lark, then laughed and made stripping jokes all show.

Then the Matty John's show started with a blast of the dogs for being silly enough to strip in public, then made fun of other drunken incidents and laughed about mad Monday events all show. And if course, showed their usual Fletch and Hindy show with swearing in public.

I know these are "comedy" shows, but if they think it is all a bit of a laugh (which is exactly how it should be treated), why bother lecturing the players first on their supposedly "bad" behaviour?

Surely

Ha
Johns
Ha

Had to go on Tele with his missus for gang bangin

Which was also ridiculous. What consenting adults want to do is their own business.

But yes, Johns, Tallis, Fletcher and Hindy, and Fitzy on the Back Page, are all such exemplars of good, "proper adults".

The fine is too much
The photographer and paper are low life's
BUT its the dogs.
You would never see their fans back us up if we were in strife, in fact it'd be the opposite.
Have any of you ever read The Kennel?
Up until the fine was imposed guess what their biggest talking point was on the subject?
It was about the Sharks and how the real reason the NRL was blowing this out of proportion is to get their darlings, "the Sharks", out of the paper because of the salary cap story.
f**k em, they are the worst of the worst.

Totally agree BBB.

I’ve checked out the Kennel Forum from time to time and they are particularly jealous of the Sharks.

Nice to see one of the real arrogant supporter bases put back in their box just like Manly.

Happy days with those two Clubs at the bottom of the ladder.

Can't get over that fine, where does the money go? Back into the development of the game or something like that? Dodgy.
